Wuthering Waves is now updated to version 3.3, featuring exciting collaborations and new content. Players can also look forward to version 3.4, which is coming soon with new characters, story chapters, gameplay features, and other surprises.

This article details the full schedule for Wuthering Waves update 3.4, covering new characters, returning favorites, planned events, and everything else you need to know before it launches.

When is the Wuthering Waves 3.4 Banner arriving

If you know when the next in-game event (banner) is coming, you can prepare by gathering resources and setting up your resonator, if one is offered.

The latest update, version 3.3, came out on April 30th, 2026. Based on the typical 41-day release schedule, we anticipate version 3.4 will be available on June 8th, 2026.

The update is expected to be released around that time. What makes this update particularly exciting is a first-of-its-kind collaboration – we’re partnering with the Netflix anime series, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Three new five-star characters are coming soon: Rebecca (Electro, uses pistols), Lucy (Glacio, uses pistols), and Lucilla (Glacio, uses a rectifier). Here’s a quick look at what they’re like:

Rebecca

As a special collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a new playable character inspired by Rebecca will be added to the game. She’ll use Electro abilities and primarily fight with a pistol, and will only be available for a limited time. Known as “Mad Dog” in the anime, Rebecca is a skilled support character and excels within her specific role in a team.

Lucy

Lucyna Kushinada, known as Lucy, is a powerful damage-dealing character coming with the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners event. She’ll only be available for a limited time – around 32 days – so if you want her, be sure to get her now! Lucy is fast and accurate, making her a very effective damage dealer.

Lucilla

She leads Startorch Academy as its president. She’s a highly skilled, rare ‘glacio rectifier’ – a powerful ability – and will only be available for a limited time. She also played a significant role in the main storyline of Lahai-Roi, appearing multiple times.

Rerun resonators

Besides the new resonators coming soon, some older ones will be returning too. I’m really looking forward to the new characters and plan to try and get them. As for the returning resonators, it looks like Cartethyia will be the first, available in Phase Two.

Wuthering Waves will release developer interviews to show the back end of 3.4
