Wuthering Waves Version 2.5 Update brings new Banners

In my excitement, I can’t wait for the upcoming Version 2.5 update! It’s coming in two exciting banner releases, packed with both fresh and familiar Resonators. These potent Resonators are just what I need to enhance my gaming journey even more!

Phase I Banner – Requiem Without End

In the upcoming Version 2.5 update of Wuthering Waves, we’re introducing Phrolova, a brand-new 5-Star character. She comes under the banner of Requiem Without End and operates as a Havoc DPS. Instead of using a typical weapon, she wields a Rectifier. Notably, her abilities are tied to a Forte Gauge system.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.5 Update brings new Main Quest and Location

  • Chapter II Act VII – Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens.
  • Overture – Rust, Sword and the Sun.

Furthermore, this update will unveil a fresh location, known as the “Fabricatorium of the Deep,” which lies concealed in the mysterious abyss of the ocean. In this establishment, objects called “Common Echoes” are produced, reused, and analyzed. You’ll have the chance to delve into this region, encounter the Lumen Tower at its core, and much more.

WuWa Version 2.5 Update brings new Weapons, Echoes, and Sonata Effect

In addition to the introduction of Resonators, this fresh update will present brand-new weapons for the recently highlighted characters in the upcoming advertisements, as well as echoes and additional features.

New 5-Star Weapon

  • Lethean Elegy – Signature weapon for Phrolova.
  • There will be two phases for weapons: Lethean Elegy and Tragicomedy in Phase II, and Whispers of Sirens and Unflickering Valor in Phase II.

2.5 New Echoes List

Echoes are needed to enhance your Resonators’ abilities, and here are the new ones:

  • Reminiscence: Fenrico
  • Nightmare: Hecate
  • Nightmare: Tambourinist
  • Nightmare: Galcio Predator
  • Nightmare: Havoc Warrior

New Phantom Echoes

Phantom Echoes are rare variations of Echoes in Wuthering Waves.

  • Phantom: Nightmare Inferno Rider

New Sonata Effect

Sonata Effects are the set bonuses in Wuthering Waves and provide a variety of useful stat bonuses.

  • Dream of the Lost (3pcs Set) – By holding 0 Resonance Energy, you increase Crit. Rate by 20% and it also grants a 35% Echo Skill DMG Bonus.

New Special Event arriving with WuWa Version 2.5 Update

In the upcoming release, just as with previous updates, the game will roll out several unique activities for players to enjoy. Let me briefly summarize what each event entails:

  • Phantasma Dreamland: Echo Dreamland Leisure Event.
  • Gifts of Grand Symphony: 7-Day Login Event.
  • Dreaming Deep: Solaris Film Festival.
  • Overflowing Picture Book: Leisure Event.

Optimizations coming with the Wuthering Waves Version 2.5 update

Instead of just the primary changes, the updated version 2.5 of WuWa comes with numerous enhancements aimed at enhancing your gaming experience. Let’s examine the main advancements:

  • Echo Management: You’ll be able to Auto-Lock or Auto-Discard Echoes in the Data Bank using plans based on quality, Cost, Sonata Effects, and Mainstats. Moreover, new Echoes will automatically follow these settings.
  • Sync Tuning: Echo Upgrade is receiving the Sync Tuning option, and when you enable this, Tuners are auto-applied during Echo upgrades, which allows Echo Tuning to synchronize with Echo Upgrade.
  • More Preset Teams: After the upcoming update, you can have up to 10 preset teams.
  • On / Off Option for Resonator Skill Music: The game is adding the Skill Music option for specific Resonators, allowing you to turn on or off the background music that accompanies the casting of their skills.
