Wuthering Waves Rebecca Build Guide: Why should you pull, pre-farm, best build, and more

The 3.4 update for Wuthering Waves is coming soon, and it will introduce three new playable characters, called resonators. The first phase of the update highlights Rebecca, a rare 5-Star resonator. This guide will cover the materials you’ll need and other important details to help you prepare to unlock and equip her when she’s released.

We’ve also updated our information on voice actors, including advice on avoiding bans and how we’re working to prevent leaks. Plus, you can find the newest redeem codes, a guide to rerolling, a beginner’s guide, an element guide, controller settings, details on weapon types and echoes, tips for playing with friends, ways to earn astrite, and a current tier list.

Rebecca: Resonator Overview

Rebecca is a free, powerful character (a 5-star Electro Resonator) who fights with a pistol. She’ll be available when the 3.4 update begins in its first phase. As part of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration, Rebecca is a fast-moving attacker who deals significant damage by combining gunplay with her abilities. She shares similar strengths with another character, Lucy, also from the collaboration.

With this new character arriving soon, we’ve put together a complete guide covering everything you need to know. It details her character, abilities, special moves, recommended weapons, and gives you reasons why you might want to unlock and prepare for her release.

Rebecca Abilities in Wuthering Waves

Rebecca is a powerful attacker who primarily relies on quick, repeated attacks. While she excels as a main damage dealer, she can also support the team as a secondary attacker or by boosting their damage. She’s incredibly fast with her dual pistols and enters a special ‘hunter mode’ to increase her effectiveness. She also uses a ‘hack’ ability to deal additional damage. Her great agility, thanks to her Tactical Dodge, has made her a highly anticipated character. Specific details about her abilities and stats aren’t available yet, but we expect to learn more in the next few days.

Why should you pull for Rebecca in WuWa

Besides the resonator added in the 3.3 update, Rebecca will function as a secondary damage dealer and might be limited in what she can do without a well-coordinated team. However, the official announcement preview suggests she has significant potential.

She’s someone you’ll be able to recruit, and it’s best to find out what materials you need in a few days before you start gathering them, just in case you’re prepared to add her to your team.

Rebecca’s best Weapons

Rebecca has access to many different weapons. But, we generally suggest sticking with her standard, starting options. Here’s a look at what she can use:

Signature and 5 Star Weapons

Weapon Stat
Skull Thrasher (Signature 5-Star) Base ATK: 500 | CRIT DMG: 72%
Passive: Increases ATK by 12% (R1). Intro Skill grants +24% Basic Attack DMG for 14s. Inflicting Hack – Shifting grants another +12% Basic Attack DMG for 14s. Team-wide ATK buff for 30s.
Perfect synergy with her kit—Crit DMG substat + massive BA DMG and team ATK.
Static Mist (5-Star) High Crit Rate + Energy Regen + team ATK buff on Outro. Great for consistent Lib uptime.
Phasic Homogenizer (5-Star) ATK% + All-Attribute DMG after Tune Break.

4 Star Alternatives

Weapon Stat
Solar Flame Best F2P option—Crit Rate substat and BA/Heavy Attack stacks.

Rebecca Best Echoes

You can also use Rebecca with more than two different environmental setups. While both options will work, it’s best to prioritize them as follows:

Recommended Echo Set

When a character equips the full Nightmare of the Shattered Dream Wraith set, landing a Hack – Shifting attack boosts their Critical Rate by 35% and increases Basic and Heavy Attack damage by 35% for 15 seconds.

Main Echo Selection

Void Thunder: 2 Set: Electro DMG +10%.

Echo Stats Prioritization

The set should be in a 4-3-3-1-1 Echo formation.

  • Four-Cost Echo: Crit Rate or Crit DMG (balance to ~70/140+ ratio)
  • Three-Cost Echo: Electro DMG Bonus (or ATK% if ER is low)
  • One-Cost Echo: ATK% (x2)

Alternative Echo Set

  • TBA (5-piece set)

Main Echo Selection

  • 5 Piece-Void Thunder

Echo Stats Prioritization

  • Energy Regen (~125%+ for smooth Lib uptime)
  • Crit Rate / Crit DMG
  • ATK%
  • Basic Attack DMG Bonus

Skill upgrade Priritization

  • Forte Circuit (Top priority – core damage)
  • Resonance Liberation
  • Basic Attack
  • Resonance Skill
  • Intro Skill

Team Set Teammates (Along with Rebecca)
Set 1 Lucy and Shorekeeper
Set 2 Augusta and Verina
Set 3 Lynae and Shorekeeper

Final Thoughts

I haven’t had a chance to play her myself yet, but from what I’ve seen in the previews and leaks, I think she’ll be somewhere between Lucy and Rebecca in terms of difficulty. Lucy will definitely give you a run for your money, but Rebecca should be pretty manageable unless you’re aiming for a really tough challenge. Hopefully, this guide will give you enough time to get prepared and collect everything you need before she’s released!
