Wu-Tang Clan announces final North American tour
Wu-Tang is for the children, but as a touring act, it’s soon to be for the history books.
On Monday, the iconic New York hip-hop collective declared their last North American tour, starting in Baltimore on June 6 and concluding in Philadelphia on July 18.
The legendary Wu-Tang Clan has unveiled another facet of their artistic journey with the tour titled “The Last Chamber.” This is a significant milestone for me and my fellow Wu-Tang members, as we embark on one final global adventure together. We aim to share our unique style, music, and cultural heritage while connecting with our devoted fans who have stood by us over the years.
In this tour, we’re going to perform songs that our audience hasn’t heard before, and my team and I have crafted a Wu-Tang performance like no other.

The unexpected factors fueling “Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men,” a four-part Showtime documentary, are idealism and love. This series chronicles the extraordinary journey of the offbeat New York rap collective, Wu-Tan Clan, from the housing projects of Staten Island to their prominent place in hip-hop lore.
The Wu-Tang Clan, a group of musicians that includes RZA, Ghostface Killah, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, Cappadonna, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, are renowned in hip-hop for their unique narrative. They weave tales of Staten Island into their music, enriching them with exceptional sampling and imagery from kung fu and samurai films, as well as comic book lore. Often hailed as one of the best hip-hop albums ever made, “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)”, released in 1993, is a defining work in their collective story.
The upcoming tour is said to feature all remaining Wu-Tang Clan members, as well as ODB’s son, Young Dirty Bastard. This differs from previous tours where not the full crew was often present. They concluded a Las Vegas residency last year, marking a first for a hip-hop act. RZA has recently been involved in creating documentaries, books, and scripted series to preserve the group’s history. It is undetermined whether they will continue to produce music or if this is merely the end of regular touring.
The tour is scheduled to visit the Crypto.com Arena on June 22, with additional performances planned in Ontario, San Diego, San Francisco, and Sacramento, California.
