This week, Carys, the daughter of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, posted some seldom-seen photos alongside her elder sibling Dylan, during their delightful family vacation.

The 21-year-old student and 24-year-old actor, who are siblings, spent some quality brother-sister time during their leisurely hike.

Michael has been through two marriages – his initial union being with Diandra Luker in 1977, resulting in the birth of their son, Cameron Douglas, who is now 45 years old. The couple parted ways in 2000.

In 2000, he married Welsh actress Catherine, 55,. They have two children together: Dylan and Carys.

Over the weekend, I found myself nestled amidst the majestic peaks, taking in the breathtaking views and capturing a moment on Instagram from atop a stone in the heart of the mountains.

It seems like these pictures are taken during the family vacation to Patagonia towards the end of last year. In her note, she wrote: ‘More memories captured at this enchanting location.’

Currently, Carys attends Brown University as a student, whereas Dylan has experimented with acting and maintains a thriving podcast.

Last October Michael shared snaps with his daughter Carys as he visited her at college.

Carys departed from her residence to pursue her education in both Film Studies and International Relations at the distinguished Brown University, a renowned Ivy League institution located in Rhode Island.

At that moment, a touching photo was shared by beaming Michael on Instagram, showing him and his little girl amidst an enchanting fall scenery on campus.

He titled his post, “Popping by daughter Carys’ school on a crisp autumn Sunday with a heart!” (accompanied by a heart emoji)

Carys was quick to comment as she penned: ‘I had the best time with you Dadda.’

A crowd of enthusiasts flooded the comment area, expressing their delight at the heartwarming meeting. One supporter wrote: “What a beautiful father-daughter picture!

Besides Carys, who’s the daughter of Catherine Zeta-Jones, another observation was made: “Carys bears a striking resemblance to both of you. She’s an incredibly beautiful girl.

Michael comes from a well-known acting lineage – his parents are renowned actors Kirk Douglas and Diana Dill.

Though Dylan’s IMDb profile is brief, he continues to be prominent – he hosts “Young American with Dylan Douglas,” a politically-charged talk show that leverages Gen Z’s influence.

So far, Cary’s IMDb listing shows just four credited roles, however, her portfolio encompasses more than that. Notable works include the short film “Shell” and serving as a second assistant director on the production of another short titled “August.

In a recent development, her most recent short movie titled “F*ck That Guy” made its way to the PROOF Film Festival held in Los Angeles. Notably, Spike Lee took on the role of an executive producer for this production.

In 2021, Catherine revealed both Carys and Dylan are determined to get into acting.

On The Drew Barrymore Show, Catherine expressed that their enthusiasm for acting is so profound that it persists even while their minds grapple with academic subjects like politics and history at school; ultimately, their heart lies in performing.

‘And they’ve never done anything professional, but they would like to go into acting.’ 

Carys has received advice from her dad that if she ventures into Hollywood, she might consistently be identified as “daughter of.” (implying a lifelong association)

The mother of two stated, “Indeed, I find myself needing to demonstrate more, but despite potential consequences, my children respond, ‘No, we apologize, but we still wish to proceed.’
