While talking with Pedestrian TV, Brown shared an insight — ahead of adopting her baby girl — into how she’d react if one of her future kids wanted to explore acting. Based on the Instagram clip, Brown would take a cerebral approach to the situation and take a cue from her own parents:

I’d parent my children the same way my parents parented me: by encouraging them to be true to themselves. If they wanted to pursue something, I’d support them, while also making sure they’re safe and protected, just like my parents did for me.

It’s wonderful to see a family in the entertainment industry that’s so supportive and deliberate in their choices. It appears MBB would be happy for any of her children to pursue a career in show business if that’s what they want. Given Brown’s expressed desire to become a young mother, it’s no surprise she responded so thoughtfully. No matter what path their child chooses, it sounds like they’ll grow up with plenty of love and encouragement.
