WORKSOUT Opens Its First Japanese Flagship in Tokyo’s Aoyama

Summary

  • WORKSOUT debuts its first Japanese flagship store in the Minami-Aoyama neighborhood of Tokyo
  • The three-story space spans 208 square meters to stage the brand’s complete curated environment
  • The upmarket positioning suggests the location will heavily operate as a dynamic community and event space

WORKSOUT has launched its first major store in Japan, opening in the trendy Aoyama area of Tokyo. This 2,230-square-foot location represents a big step forward for the South Korean streetwear and sneaker brand as it expands internationally.

WORKSOUT’s new main store in Aoyama covers three floors, giving the brand plenty of space to showcase its full identity – a much more expansive approach than typical smaller shops. By opening in Minami-Aoyama, an area known for high-end designer boutiques, instead of popular streetwear districts like Harajuku or Shibuya, WORKSOUT is clearly aiming for a more sophisticated market. This fits with the brand’s history of limited-edition releases and its design style, which blends elements of sportswear, streetwear, and sneaker culture.

Although details about specific products or the store’s design haven’t been fully announced yet, the new Tokyo location is planned to be more than just a store. Building on the brand’s recent events that combine sports, gaming, and fashion—like one connected to the Japanese F1 Grand Prix—the flagship store will likely function as both a high-end retail space and a place for interactive experiences and community events.

The WORKSOUT Aoyama flagship has officially opened its doors.
