Woman at the centre of Jules and Lachie Neale’s marriage breakdown saga shrugs of the drama as she celebrates Christmas with friends

Honestly, I’ve been tracking everything about this whole situation, and it’s so interesting to see Tess Crosley just… moving on! Apparently, she totally brushed off all the drama with Jules and Lachie Neale and had a lovely Christmas with her family and friends. It’s like she’s not even bothered, and I’m here obsessively following every detail! I just needed to share that, it’s fascinating to me.

The missionary involved in the recent public disagreement between AFL player Lachie Neale and his wife, Jules, posted heartwarming Christmas photos with her family on Instagram.

Tess looked beautiful in a brown dress and enjoyed a lovely day with her son in a garden. A sweet photo shows her lovingly holding him in the sunshine.

One picture showed Tess smiling brightly for the camera, and another captured her having a drink with her friends.

She wasn’t wearing her wedding ring in any of the photos, and her husband, Ben, wasn’t in any of them either.

‘Merry Christmas,’ Tess captioned the gallery, which had the comments turned off.

Pictures have surfaced showing Jules and Lachie Neale’s last vacation with Tess Crosley and her husband Ben, before a major disagreement ended their friendship.

Hairstylist and social media personality Jules, 35, publicly criticized Tess on Monday, asking her to take down photos from the Brisbane Lions’ recent grand final party that she posted on Instagram.

Jules commented, ‘Take those pictures down, you’re making a fool of yourself,’ referring to photos of Tess, who used to be a Mormon missionary, with a famous football player.

The post has been removed, and the two people are no longer connected on social media.

Jules recently announced her marriage is over, dismissing reports that she and Neale were trying to fix things. She stated she was deeply hurt and betrayed, though she hasn’t shared details about what happened.

It’s evident their relationship wasn’t always strained—photos of them together were still publicly available on her social media as of Tuesday.

The post featured a series of photos showing Tess, Jules, their partners, and children having fun on a trip to the coast in November.

The group seemed to really enjoy spending time together, and a photo showed the old friends relaxing on the beach in bikinis.

A photo also showed Tess and Lachie relaxing in the backyard of the house they were renting for their vacation.

A video posted to Tess’ TikTok in June features her, her husband Ben, Lachie, and Jules participating in a popular TikTok challenge.

The clip shows the foursome performing the ‘hope our husbands like each other’ skit.

Jules silently mouthed the words ‘I hope our husbands get along,’ and Tess quickly agreed, saying ‘Me too’.

The camera then cuts to a shot of Lachie and Ben with their arms interlocked drinking a cocktail.

The clip was captioned: ‘Four best friends’.

The surprising announcement followed news reports that the couple was secretly trying to fix their relationship.

‘I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything,’ Jules wrote.

‘I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.

‘All I can do now is to heal and do what’s best for my children,’ she continued.

Shortly after releasing her statement, Jules removed all photos of Lachie from her Instagram, effectively deleting over ten years of shared memories. Around the same time, a moving truck was seen at the couple’s house in Brisbane.

Jules angrily told Tess to take down pictures from the Brisbane Lions’ grand final party that she’d posted online.

The post showcased photos from Brisbane’s championship celebration after they won the premiership for the second year in a row. Several pictures featured Jules and Lachie on the field and in the locker room, celebrating with their friends.

A screenshot captured a now-deleted comment from Jules that read: ‘Take these down, you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself.’

Tess has also switched off comments on the post after members of the public flooded the account.

There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by Tess.

Neither party has made any public comment on the situation.

Jules and Lachie are parents to two children: Piper, who is four years old, and Freddie, who was born in December 2024.
