Wolf Alice have been confirmed as the latest performer for next month’s 2026 BRIT Awards.
The band, whose album ‘The Clearing’ came out last summer, will be performing alongside Harry Styles and Olivia Dean at the upcoming awards show.
Bassist Theo Ellis said the band is incredibly excited to perform at this year’s BRIT Awards.
I’m really excited to see everyone’s outfits and find out who else is performing. And I’m definitely looking forward to relaxing with a few small glasses of wine after we’re done playing!
I’m really excited for a fun night out in Manchester! Don’t forget to watch everything live on TV.
Wolf Alice received three nominations for the upcoming BRIT Awards: Album of the Year for their record The Clearing, Group of the Year, and Best Alternative/Rock Act. The complete list of nominees was announced last week.
Olivia Dean and Lola Young are the frontrunners for the awards, each receiving five nominations. Sam Fender is also a strong contender with four nominations.
Lily Allen, Dave, Fred again.. and Jim Legxacy have each received three nominations.
Harry Styles, age 31, has excited his fans with news of a seven-city tour happening this summer. He’s also releasing his fourth album, titled DISCO, OCCASIONALLY, on March 6th.
Last week, he shared the first single from his upcoming album, “Aperture,” and fans immediately responded positively to the new song.
The BRIT Awards will be Harry’s live TV performance debut of music from his new album.
He hasn’t performed on stage for three years when he was on his Love on Tour run of shows in 2023.
Harry’s tour begins in Amsterdam on May 16th and will conclude in Sydney, Australia.
He’ll be performing with some incredible special guests on tour, including Robyn, Shania Twain, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé, and Skye Newman.
General sale for tickets to the London shows will open January 30 at 11am.
Recently, the cost of his presale tickets has caused criticism, with many people saying they are too expensive.
Harry added two extra shows at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday following criticism that his ticket prices for the Together Together tour were too high. Fans had called him ‘greedy’ and ‘out of touch’ because of the cost.
The singer originally planned for 10 shows at the famous venue, but will now perform a record-breaking 12 times this summer.
Harry Styles will soon have performed at the venue more times than any other artist during a single tour. Coldplay previously held the record with 10 shows last summer during their Music of the Spheres tour.
Taylor Swift recently broke Michael Jackson’s record for the most solo performances at Wembley Stadium. She played eight shows during her Eras Tour, surpassing Jackson’s seven.
Harry Styles will be performing at the famous venue on multiple dates: June 12th, 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, 26th, and 27th, as well as July 1st, 3rd, and 4th.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the reaction to Harry’s tour tickets, and it’s been quite a conversation! When pre-sale started, a lot of fans felt really disappointed – and honestly, a bit upset – by how expensive the tickets were. Many are calling it ‘greedy’ or saying he’s ‘out of touch’ with his fans, and it’s definitely sparked a debate about affordability and artist accessibility.
I was so excited to see the nominations for the 2026 BRIT Awards! Lola and Olivia really dominated, with five nominations apiece – amazing! And it was fantastic to see Lily Allen back and recognized in three categories; what a comeback for her!
After eliminating separate awards for male and female artists in 2022, the award show has received significant criticism for the lack of female nominees. This was especially noticeable in 2023 when all the nominees for Artist of the Year were men.
This year, there’s been a significant shift, as women and non-binary individuals now make up 70% of those nominated.
Lily returned to music in October 2025 with her first album in seven years, “West End Girl,” which she described as a project about getting even.
The 40-year-old singer’s new album explores the breakdown of her marriage to David Harbour, from Stranger Things, and reveals details about a reported affair during their relationship.
Lily is competing with Lola and Olivia for the Artist of the Year award on February 28th. She’s also in the running for Album of the Year and Pop Artist of the Year.
Lily’s popular album honestly and painfully described the end of her four-year marriage to David, focusing heavily on his affair with someone else.
Lola, who is 24 years old, has also been nominated for Breakthrough Artist and Alternative/Rock Act. However, it’s unclear if she plans to be at the awards ceremony.
Honestly, when I heard about the five BRIT nominations, I was completely floored! It’s something I’ve dreamt about countless times, and my first thought was, ‘There’s no way this is real – I must still be dreaming!’ It felt surreal, like any minute I’d wake up and it would all be a fantastic illusion.
I’m truly touched and incredibly grateful for this recognition. It’s an honor to be considered with such a talented group of nominees.
After collapsing onstage during a New York performance, she canceled the rest of her tour in September to focus on her well-being.
In September 2024, the performer had to be helped off stage during a show. She later let her fans know she was okay.
In December 2025, Lola shared a heartfelt message on social media, explaining she was feeling much better and more positive about things.
In a recent post, Lola shared her thanks to everyone who has been patient and supportive while she worked through some personal challenges and focused on her well-being.
‘I’ve felt so much love and support from you all and it has helped more than you will ever know.
I’m slowly starting to perform again and working towards my goals. Wishing everyone happy holidays, and I look forward to seeing you all in 2026! Life isn’t perfect, but I’m feeling good today. Sending all my love, Lola.
Olivia, age 26, had a breakout year, becoming the first female artist since Adele in 2021 to simultaneously reach No. 1 on the UK singles and album charts with her song “Man I Need” and album “The Art Of Loving.”
She has been nominated in five categories and will be performing at the Award ceremony.
It’s amazing to go from being a student in the audience at The BRIT School to performing there ten years later, and I can’t wait to see everyone in Manchester, shared Ms. Dean.
The star began writing songs at the tender age of 16, and taught herself to play guitar and piano.
Olivia studied at the Brit School, a renowned performing arts and technology institution, and is up for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
She first gained attention in 2018 with her debut single, “Reason To Stay,” and followed it up with two EPs released in 2019 and 2020.
I was so thrilled when she was recognized as Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2021! And I couldn’t stop listening when her beautiful cover of Nat King Cole’s ‘Christmas Song’ actually hit number 19 on the UK singles chart – it was amazing to see her talent get that kind of recognition.
Aside from being nominated, Olivia is also reported to perform at the Brit Awards.
After winning the 2025 Mercury Prize for his album, People Watching, Sam Fender has received four nominations for the BRIT Awards.
Dave has won awards in three categories: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Hip Hop, Grime, or Rap Act.
Last year, the 27-year-old artist released his third album, ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp.’ He’s now made history as the first British rapper to have three albums reach the top of the UK charts.
As a huge Raye fan, I was a little surprised to see she was only nominated for one award this year. After the incredible success she had last year – winning a record-breaking six! – it feels a bit different. Still rooting for her, of course!
The singer won the first award of the night, Song of the Year, for her popular track “Escapism” featuring 070 Shake. She later also received awards for R&B Act and Best New Artist.
As a longtime observer of the music scene, I have to say, this artist really made history at the BRIT Awards! They now hold the record for the most awards won in a single night – a truly incredible achievement. Previously, the record stood at four, shared by some amazing artists like Blur back in ’95, Adele in 2016, and Harry Styles just last year. But this year’s winner absolutely blew that record away!
British icons Pulp have received their first nomination for Group of the Year since 1996.
This year’s nominations also include strong representation from Hollywood, with the KPop-inspired group HUNTR/X, produced by Netflix, being nominated for International Song of the Year for their song ‘Golden,’ and also being considered for International Group of the Year.
Cynthia Erivo received her first nomination for Song of the Year with Mastercard for her performance of “Defying Gravity” from the musical Wicked.
Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, and Chappell Roan are also nominated for awards, joining other international artists.
The BRIT Awards are back on February 28th, and this year they’re being held in Manchester at the brand new Co-op Live arena, a major center for music and culture.
The annual music awards show, traditionally held at London’s O2 Arena since 2011 and known as the biggest night in British music, will be held in Manchester this year. The Daily Mail reports that organizers plan to move the event to different cities around the UK in the years to come.
Jack Whitehall is hosting The BRIT Awards again, marking his sixth time as host. He previously presented the show in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2025.
He left the show in 2022, with Mo Gilligan hosting for the next two years. In 2024, Maya Jama, Roman Kemp, and Clara Amfo all co-hosted the event.
