I feel fortunate to lead this team as we’re just beginning our work. This is an exciting new start for us.
Riot Games recently concluded the Teamfight Tactics (TFT) K.O. Coliseum Tactician’s Crown tournament between November 14th and 16th. WithoutYou, a player from Taiwan, won the competition with 36 points, taking home the majority of the $470,000 prize and bringing significant recognition to the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

WithoutYou wins TFT Set 15 Tactician’s Crown
Caster Clement Chu Kai-hsin notes that WithoutYou was always a talented Teamfight Tactics player. However, he struggled to dedicate himself fully to the competitive scene while also working a regular job and questioning his abilities. With the backing of his team, he ultimately decided to pursue TFT esports full-time.
Clement Chu explained that he’s known WithoutYou since Set 9 and that WithoutYou was the top player at the time. However, WithoutYou had a regular job and didn’t feel confident enough to leave it and focus on pursuing his gaming dreams.
He explained that it wasn’t easy to get everyone on board, but this year the team helped him connect with an organization, even though some people still had reservations. He always maintained, ‘WithoutYou is the most insightful member of the team.’ Many players have benefited from working with him and have improved their skills thanks to his guidance.

WithoutYou on winning TFT K.O. Coliseum Tactician’s Crown
The winner of the Teamfight Tactics Set 15 Tactician’s Crown shared his experience reaching the top. Known as WithoutYou, he said in Chinese that he was overjoyed and still surprised by his win. He described his preparation for the tournament, explaining he focused on keeping a consistent schedule by going to bed and waking up at the same time each day, even while visibly excited and with shaking hands.
WithoutYou explained that he knew he had a good shot at winning when he saw how quickly strong players were being picked in the early game. This led him to focus on earning cash and doubling down using the Crystal strategy on rounds 3-5. He said the moment he really felt confident about winning was when he defeated weimuluoqiu.

The player thanked his family and the tournament staff for their support and for making the events successful.
Our region has consistently gotten better, WithoutYou shared, as translated by Clement Chu. I feel like I’m simply along for the ride, and I’m incredibly fortunate to be leading the way. We’re just beginning to move forward, and this is only the start of a larger journey. There are so many people I want to thank, it’s hard to put my thoughts together right now. But I want everyone to know how grateful and lucky I am.
