Yorgos Lanthimos’s new film, Poor Things, has received four Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. It’s a reimagining of the 2003 Korean film Save the Green Planet! and tells the story of two men convinced of a conspiracy who kidnap the CEO of a pharmaceutical company (Emma Stone), believing she’s an alien intent on wiping out humankind.
SFX praised the film as a hilarious, atmospheric, and genuinely moving comedy, highlighting that it’s a rare remake that offers a fresh perspective instead of just repeating the original.
You can purchase Bugonia on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD starting February 2nd. A special feature included is a 23-minute “Making Of” documentary called “The Birth Of The Bees.” We’re giving away five Blu-ray copies! To enter for a chance to win, just answer the question below. Please be aware that this competition is only open to residents of the UK.
