Will Trent finds its new ADA in Not Dead Yet star

As a long-time fan of gripping TV dramas and captivating characters, I am thrilled to see Gina Rodriguez joining the cast of Will Trent Season 3! Her charisma and knack for playing complex, multidimensional characters will undoubtedly breathe new life into the series.

Despite the cancellation of her series “Not Dead Yet“, Gina Rodriguez isn’t idle for long. Instead, she has secured a series regular position in the third season of “Will Trent”.

The midseason break has been skipped for this TV series. Instead, there will be approximately 18 consecutive episodes airing from the start of next year, so no more waiting to see what happens!

Gina Rodriguez joins Will Trent Season 3 as a new ADA

The deadline confirms that Rodriguez has been cast in the series as a regular character. This gives us ample time to become acquainted with her fresh role, which is that of Marion Alba. Marion is portrayed as an engaging and self-assured Assistant District Attorney who is new to Atlanta. Her introduction to Will will initially be unfavorable.

Initially, I had a bit of trouble clicking with Will, but there’s potential for that bond to develop over time. You see, our paths crossed when we teamed up to dig into the city’s gang situation, and who knows where it might lead?

The deadline implies a possible romantic connection between the characters. Many fans are rooting for a relationship between Will and Angie, but could Marion potentially stir up some complications?

It’s not only Marion that might create issues for those who ship Will and Angie. In fact, at the end of season 2, viewers were taken aback when Angie was apprehended for tampering with evidence. Guess who made the arrest? None other than Will himself! This could potentially lead to a long-term separation for them, thus possibly paving the way for a new romantic interest for Will.

Rodriguez featured in the comedy titled “Not Dead Yet“. Regrettably, the show was terminated after only two seasons, which was a disheartening decision taken by ABC. The series provided an insightful perspective on individuals who have unresolved matters and require assistance to convey messages beyond this world.

The first episode of Season 3 for the series “Will Trent” is scheduled to air in January 2025. We’ll be watching for updates from ABC.
