This year’s distinguished roster of acting nominees includes Timothée Chalamet, who was nominated for Best Actor due to his role as the renowned musician and songwriter Bob Dylan in the biographical film titled “A Complete Unknown.

Before stepping into the ceremony, I gracefully strolled down the red carpet, clad in an elegantly tailored, single-tone butter yellow Givenchy suit, paired with a complementing button-up beneath.

He completed the outfit with a matching pair of black boots, a Cartier solitaire diamond choker necklace, and rings adorning his fingers.

Despite missing the red carpet event, Kylie Cosmetics’ founder was later captured on camera enjoying a heartwarming encounter with the Oscar-nominated individual.

In April 2023, this pair, known to be romantically involved, were spotted exchanging a loving kiss. A different picture revealed Jenner with her mouth wide open, apparently surprised, as they engaged in conversation while seated beside one another.

On that special event, Jenner donned a long, shimmering black dress adorned with rhinestones, featuring openings at the torso. Her classic black tresses cascaded loosely, styled with a side part and bouncy curls to add a fun touch.

Although most fans on X/Twitter enthusiastically celebrated the couple’s Oscars outing, there were some who speculated that Jenner’s attendance at the event could potentially lead to Chalamet losing his Best Actor nomination.

‘Everyone saying he’s going to lose because he brought her,’ wrote one X/Twitter user.

‘He goin home empty handed,’ another person suggested.

‘Ohhhhh he’s losing that Oscar,’ a third user said, while someone else wrote: ‘He’s not winning.’

It appeared that their downfall might have been attributed to what’s often referred to as the “Kardashian effect,” a popular internet hypothesis suggesting that any man who becomes romantically linked to a Kardashian-Jenner sister experiences a decline in their reputation or success.

One fan remarked that perhaps the supposed ‘Kardashian curse’ isn’t true anymore, given the pictures of Chalamet and Jenner together at the Oscars.

‘They told him don’t bring Kylie she got that Kardashian curse,’ another person wrote.

In an episode of their television series on Hulu, The Kardashians, the renowned Kardashian-Jenner family countered the ‘Kardashian curse’ by asserting that the concept was highly discriminatory against women, with Kim and Khloe Kardashian specifically labeling it as ‘extremely sexist.’

Previously on the show, Jenner had shared her perspective on the “Kardashian Curse,” stating it as follows: ‘For any man who dates a Kardashian, their life seems to take a turn for the worse afterwards.’

Before this year’s Oscars, there were speculations among fans that Jenner might not attend the event as she was deeply grieving the loss of her dear friend and hairdresser, Jesus Guerrero.

One person suggested that, given her friend had recently passed away unexpectedly, it seemed unlikely for him to have taken his mother to the last awards show.

After the unexpected passing of their longtime friend Guerrero at the young age of 34 on February 22, the former star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians is deeply mourning. In the wake of this tragedy, Jenner expressed her feelings through an emotional tribute posted in his honor.

She penned, in a detailed note accompanying pictures spanning their years together, that Jesus meant more to her than just a friend.

‘He was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,’ she said.

Over the past nearly ten years, I couldn’t have gotten through without him at my side. There was something about him that could lighten the weight of even the toughest days.

Jenner went on to say: “Thank you, dear Jesus, for your constant presence, for uplifting me, for being my confidant. The sorrow of your absence is almost too much, and I’m struggling to find a way forward without you. Yet, I know that profound grief arises from deep love. And oh, how deeply I loved you.

She said, ‘You stood out as an exceptional individual, possessing a skill unrivaled. Truly artistic in every sense. You ignited sparks of creativity within countless others and continue to do so. Your eloquence, your laughter, your compassion, your enchanting soul will forever dwell within my heart.’

I’ll treasure each moment we shared, every laugh and embrace. I yearn to share another hug with you. I found myself lying in your bed, just as you once did in mine, chatting for hours on end. Oh, how I’d give anything for just one more heartfelt conversation.

‘I’m going to miss you so much. More than any words can say,’ she wrote to her ‘angel.’

Previously, it was reported to Us Weekly by Guerrero’s sibling, Gris Guerrero, that her beloved brother passed away quite unexpectedly. At this time, the specific reason for his demise remains undetermined.

She said that his loved ones ‘don’t know what got him sick or what [the] sickness was.’

Prior to his passing, Guerrero was traveling for business with Jennifer Lopez. He also collaborated with artists like Katy Perry, who wrote a heartfelt tribute in his memory, as well as Jessica Alba, Shay Mitchell, Blackpink’s Rosé and Rosalia.
