The anticipation is palpable, and the latest episode has given us all something to talk about – Soldier Boy, the World War II-era superhero played last season by Jensen Ackles.

In the universe of “The Boys,” Soldier Boy holds a legendary status as the original superhero, possessing immense power. Preceding Homelander, he is known for his brutality and abusive behavior, which has been softened by the media and history. Unbeknownst to him, Soldier Boy is also Homelander’s biological father. The company had used Soldier Boy’s DNA to create what they believed would be an even more remarkable hero.
Homelander appears to have gained some harmful characteristics from his father. In the third season, they clashed violently, resulting in Soldier Boy being unconscious and confined in a tube keeping him in a suspended state. Notably, he didn’t pass away, indicating that the writers, led by Eric Kripke, may plan to revive him at a later time.
If they hope to introduce Soldier Boy in “The Boys” series, they should act quickly as there are only two seasons left after season 4 concludes. Some fans speculate that he may emerge in the final episode of season 4 and become more prominent in season 6.
