Will Smith recreates viral Fresh Prince dance with co-star
Will Smith and Tatyana Ali, who were both stars of the popular ’90s TV show “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” have reenacted their famous dance scene from the show.
The video featuring Ali’s character Ashley dancing while wearing headphones, followed by her cousin Will copying her dance moves from behind, has become popular on TikTok. People are re-enacting this scene to the music of Doechii’s song ‘Anxiety’.
Smith and Ali have jumped aboard the bandwagon, but with a special twist – they’ve got Doechii participating in their activities too.
“Waited 35 years for this dance to trend,” Smith captioned the video.

In the late 80s and early 90s, I was a devoted viewer of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” a popular sitcom that ran from 1990 to 1996. The show featured Will Smith as a streetwise teenager from West Philadelphia who found himself living with his wealthy uncle and aunt in Bel-Air, Los Angeles after getting into some trouble back home.
A reboot of the ’90s sitcom was released in 2022, which reimagines Will’s coming-of-age story in a more serious tone.
Jabari Banks plays the main character, Will, in this production. He’s joined by Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, and Simone Joy Jones as part of the cast.
After completing three successful seasons, Bel-Air was granted another season, this time its last, in December.
In other news, it was recently announced that Smith has lined up a Bad Boys reunion for a new Netflix film.
Nearly 30 years after the release of the hit action comedy, its director Michael Bay is on board to helm Smith’s new action movie Fast and Loose.
“Fast and Loose follows a man who wakes up in Tijuana with no memories,” reads the official synopsis for the film. “As he pieces together his past, he learns he’s been living two lives: one as a crime kingpin and the other as an undercover CIA agent.”
