Will public perception of Sir change after Found season 2, episode 6?

As a seasoned gamer who’s seen more plot twists than I can count, I must say that Sir’s recent actions in Found have left me both intrigued and bewildered. While it’s clear he’s been manipulative and self-serving up until now, his timely rescue of Charlotte has certainly stirred a hornet’s nest.

In the tale of “Found“, Sir is generally considered the antagonist, but there’s a twist: his assistance towards Gabi might not be entirely altruistic. Instead, he seems to have ulterior motives and craves feelings of necessity. Could it be that his latest actions could potentially shift his image from villain to savior?

Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for Found season 2, episode 6.

In this situation, the M&A team found themselves dealing with an imitator. This wasn’t something that Gabi welcomed, but her familiarity with Sir allowed her to discern that he wasn’t responsible for the kidnappings.

Instead, the person with an unhealthy fixation was Gabi herself, as it turned out. Known as Elizabeth but using the alias Gabi, she abducted Charlotte due to a romantic conflict, which sparked a desperate race against time for the M&A team to rescue Charlotte. However, they arrived too late. It was Sir who ultimately managed to reach her first.

Charlotte publicly thanked Sir in Found season 2, episode 6

Sir arrived and secured Elizabeth, after which he rescued Charlotte. Naturally, Charlotte expressed her gratitude by taking to social media to acknowledge and praise Sir for his heroic deeds.

These events have sparked shifts in perspectives. It’s important to note that one kind act does not necessarily equate to a person being inherently good. However, it appears Sir’s actions are self-centered, displaying narcissistic and sociopathic tendencies. He seems to thrive on feeling needed, which Charlotte’s public gratitude may have reinforced. Similarly, his skill in helping the M&A team find people seems to satisfy Gabi’s need for him, a dynamic that many people are unaware of.

While it may not entirely alter society’s overall view of this individual, it could potentially complicate matters for the law enforcement. There will always be individuals who express compassion towards him, especially considering his capture. Some might perceive him as misunderstood or reacting due to possible mistreatment. This dynamic is often seen in real life and is likely to surface in the story Found.

Gabi questions her own work in Found season 2, episode 6

In the current situation, Gabi finds it unfair that Sir is receiving recognition for this particular rescue, implying he might also claim credit for every life he’s assisted in saving during the past nine months.

In this episode, it’s Lacey who displays logical thinking. She notes that Sir could only possess the information due to the M&A team. Furthermore, while the M&A team perceived a victim, Sir saw a suspect. Essentially, he sees what he is – a twisted individual. This doesn’t make him the hero in any tale.

As a dedicated fan, I have a feeling that we’re going to delve deeper into Gabi’s vulnerabilities as the season unfolds. It seems she’s wielding quite a bit of power by leveraging Sir for her benefit – a move that might not be without its own repercussions.
