Will Mellor confesses he made a big mistake inviting his wife to watch him strip off with The Dreamboys
As an ardent fan of Will Mellor, I must say his latest adventures have left me in stitches! From daring strip shows to strutting his stuff on Strictly Come Dancing, this man never ceases to amaze me. His life experiences are a rollercoaster ride that keeps me hooked and entertained.
Will Mellor has revealed he made a ‘mistake’ inviting his wife Michelle to a strip show.
In a partnership, the 48-year-old actor joined forces with his Two Pints fellow star, Ralf Little (aged 44), for the show “Will & Ralf: Over Forty and Wise,” where they were tasked to seize the best of their forties.
In a particular episode, the duo found themselves required to perform a dance routine on stage alongside the Dreamboys. During an interview with TopMob, Will confessed that he wasn’t fully aware of what he was getting himself into.
Admittedly, I found the situation quite intimidating, as I hadn’t anticipated them stripping completely. I assumed it would be more like a Magic Mike performance, with a bit of striptease and dancing involved.
‘I didn’t know they got their penis out and the problem with that is I invited my wife!’
With a wry smile, Will remarked, “I guess I overstepped myself when I invited her. I’ve been telling her for so long that I’m well-endowed, and now it seems like I was the one who made a mistake!
As a lifestyle expert, I must confess, I initially felt a tinge of apprehension. However, once I plunged in, I found myself delighted and thriving in the experience. That’s precisely what this series is designed for – to provoke a sense of fear or challenge you, pushing you beyond your comfort zone.
At the conclusion, I experienced a surge of exhilaration – that moment when life feels most vibrant. It appeared as though the 2000 women in attendance, along with my wife and her companions, thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
Will also put himself to the test when he competed on Strictly in 2022.
Will mentioned that he had often declined the opportunity to do the show due to several reasons.
However, when I experienced the loss of my father, my mind seemed to respond with a resounding “I can’t, I’m refusing due to others’ opinions.
Pondering over the idea, I can’t help but worry about how others might perceive me. If I were to make this move, there’s a chance people might overlook my acting career, question my credibility, or pass judgment.
‘But I thought if you want to challenge yourself, you’ve got do things for you.
Additionally, that program was my mother’s most cherished one, as she had been going through a difficult period following the loss of my father. Consequently, I chose to accommodate her feelings by continuing to watch it.
In the same conversation, Will mentioned the possibility of a reunion for Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, a popular sitcom that ended 13 years ago.
As a dedicated advocate for digital equity, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve recently been handed a script for a revival of a beloved series – Two Pints Last Orders. I’m honored to be part of this project, which aligns with Virgin Media O2’s mission to combat data poverty.
2011 marked the conclusion of the show, as the majority of its original actors had parted ways by that year. After Ralf’s departure following series six, both Sheridan Smith and Kathryn Drysdale left during the eighth season.
Yet fans have been calling on the cast to bring the show back in recent years.
Will revealed: ‘I’ve tried. I even got a script written by [creator] Susan Nixon. A first episode draft called Two Pints Last Orders.
It felt like a climactic showdown, akin to “Where are they now” type stories. However, instead of Johnny being deceased, he’s been evading a debt collector or something similar.
However, both the BBC and BBC Three declined, opting instead to replay older episodes that were drawing the highest viewership ratings on their respective channels. This leaves one questioning their decisions.
1) I’ve agreed to go ahead with it. Just like Ralph, I’d still be on board, regardless if it turned out to be a lengthy Christmas special, all for the fans’ enjoyment.
The series had a cult following, and it was their backing that kept it going for as long as it did. Without their support, it might not have lasted so long.
Previously, I mentioned that we could fund and execute the project independently. However, if we were to distribute it through a streaming service, viewers would need to pay to watch it. Given our current financial predicament, this might not be feasible for everyone.
I’m unable to proceed with that. It seems unfair to charge viewers for content they’ve already supported financially. I believe it wouldn’t sit right to do so. Ideally, such content should find a broadcasting platform without us having to ask for payment from the audience.
‘But as I say, my hands are a bit tied. We need a channel to take it up.’
