Will Best, the host of Big Brother, shared on Thursday that he’s taken on a thrilling new job, which has brought him immense happiness.

The 40-year-old host, currently managing the latest installment of the celebrity edition, shared exciting updates on Hits Radio Breakfast.

It was disclosed that he would be teaming up with Fleur East and James Barr as a fresh co-host, commencing from next Monday.

On Friday, it’s been arranged that Florie will appear alongside Will on the live show “Big Brother Late”. During their broadcast, they are set to devise a unique challenge: attempting to incorporate as many breakfast-themed words as possible in their conversation.

For some time now, I’ve been considering becoming part of the 5 am club – it seems like everyone who’s anyone is doing it, doesn’t it? I believe I can handle the early wake-ups… I guess I should get to bed soon.

To be completely honest, I’m over-the-moon thrilled about it! Knowing that I’ll spend time daily with Fleur and James just makes my heart leap with happiness!

In 2025, the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother recorded the lowest viewership for a debut episode ever, and fans have pinpointed one significant problem contributing to these disappointing ratings.

On Monday evening, the well-known reality series made a comeback, featuring celebrities like Mickey Rourke and Jojo Siwa, along with other stars such as Trisha Goddard and Chesney Hawkes, inside the renowned mansion.

Upon Mickey’s arrival, he quickly garnered attention due to his unusual behavior towards host AJ Odudu, but this did not significantly increase the show’s viewership.

Last night’s data revealed that the show attracted its highest viewership of 2.1 million at one point, while maintaining an average audience of 1.8 million throughout.

Last year, the show reached its highest viewership of 3.2 million viewers when it came back for its celebrity version last time in 2018, and now the viewership has dropped compared to that peak.

Conversely, the program attracted the largest viewing audience aged 16-34 during that time slot, surpassing the cumulative viewership of all four competing channels.

As a devoted follower, I’ve observed that while the numbers were lower compared to last year, I’ve noticed one significant concern among the fans regarding the statistics we’re seeing on X.

It was observed that Celebrity Big Brother usually attracts a younger demographic, so it’s plausible that a significant number of them tuned in to the premiere on ITVX.

In this current year, the commencement of the CBB (I presume it’s the Championship Boxing Bonanza) was broadcast live on YouTube as well. Neither of these viewership numbers would have factored into the initial nightly rating totals.

In other words, does the count also include viewers who watched on ITVX and YouTube, as I believe these platforms are distinct?

Keep in mind that the audience of #CBBUK tends to be younger, and they’re more likely to watch it on ITVX, which isn’t included in our current count.

‘It’s not as catastrophic as some people make it seem’; It didn’t receive rave reviews, but it did secure the prime-time viewing slot at 9 pm.
