Wild fight breaks out between Mariah Carey fans at her Christmas concert
As a long-time devotee of Mariah Carey and her enchanting holiday concerts, I am disheartened to report that the festive spirit seems to have eluded some of her fans during her recent Baltimore performance. Witnessing such unsavory behavior at one of her shows is akin to finding lumps of coal instead of presents under the Christmas tree.
A portion of Mariah Carey’s audience seemed to have left their holiday cheer at home during her performance in Baltimore on Saturday evening.
In her recent tour, the singer, aged 55, was aiming to bring holiday joy, but some unruly spectators might find themselves on Santa’s “naughty” side due to their inappropriate conduct at the performance.
The nasty brawl, uploaded on TMZ, broke out at the diva’s performance at the CFG Bank Arena.
People who were present reported to the media that a fight, which started with around four to five individuals, intensified rapidly following an instance where someone threw a drink.
The physical altercation among some rowdy attendees is said to have happened during the interlude, when the performer of All I Want for Christmas Is You was taking a break before singing her last song on stage.
Several punches were thrown and one person was said to have been put into a dangerous headlock.
Bystanders reported that security stepped in to halt the disturbance, but no explanation was provided as to why the altercation began.
Security apparently decided to handle the incident on their own and police were not called.
Carey seemed unaware of the clash and finished the concert without incident.
This recent altercation follows another act of violence that occurred during the concert on December 1 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. (paraphrased)
There two men are seen going at each other while a woman tries to push him away.
Several other women were seen lashing out at each other in the clip shared on X/Twitter.
The Joy to the World singer didn’t seem to be aware of any of the violence at that gig either.
On Sunday, the artist shared two pictures of herself, all decked out in a festive red-and-white Santa outfit, preparing for some glam transformation.
As your go-to lifestyle guide, I’ve truly cherished sharing the holiday spirit with each of you. With just five performances left in our Christmastime Tour, it’s bittersweet to say that we’re nearing the end of this magical journey together ❤️

Here are the last five performances scheduled: Raleigh, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Newark, New Jersey, Belmont Park, New York, and Brooklyn, New York.
Since 2014, Carey has consistently put on a version of her holiday concerts, except for the years 2020 and 2021, which were impacted by the global COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns.
This year, she’s commemorating the 30th anniversary of her cherished “All I Want for Christmas is You” hit song. It achieved triple platinum status in 1994, and Carey has recently re-released a remastered version of the single along with her Merry Christmas album.
As a proud lifestyle connoisseur, I find myself beaming with joy as we mark three decades since the release of this cherished album. The heartfelt gratitude I feel towards each and every one of you, my devoted fans, is immeasurable. For countless Christmases past, your spirits have danced to these very tunes, creating memories that I hold dear.
