Wild conspiracy theory emerges about Delta Goodrem following her lavish wedding to Matthew Copley

A rather outlandish speculation surfaced regarding Delta Goodrem following the attention garnered by her extravagant wedding with Matthew Copley, suggesting a secret twist in their nuptials.

This week, a Reddit user posed the question, “Why did Delta Goodrem’s popularity decrease so rapidly?

A multitude of social media users filled the comment area with various speculations as to why the artist known for Born To Try saw a decline in popularity among Australian listeners.

‘Aged past her intended audience and never updated her style,’ one person guessed. 

This person said something like: ‘She’s like a product made by a pop vending machine, and her expiration time has come.’

‘She was just so predictable,’ one more wrote. 

In response to this comment, another Reddit user replied, saying that they were bombarded with messages in various places.

‘At one point, she was everywhere on Channel Nine. However, now they’ve replaced her with Sophie Monk.’

‘It was suggested that perhaps her popularity was not genuine, but rather a product of artificial means. Some individuals become famous due to remarkable skills, stirring up controversy, or simply being in the opportune location at the perfect moment.’

They noted that some individuals gain popularity because they possess enough skill, attractiveness, and cooperativeness to allow a public relations apparatus to generate fame for them… However, once this machine shifts its focus towards newer, more attractive, and easier-to-exploit talent, their fame tends to disappear.

It’s been my understanding that Delta has long been associated with the limelight – spending nearly a full decade basking in fame, followed by a subsequent decade as a semi-prominent figure on television. From there, it seems that she’s now settled into performing at local RSL clubs for the rest of her career.

Despite the criticism, some of Delta’s fans were quick to defend her. 

‘I think she’s beautiful and has a wonderful voice,’ commented one admirer. 

In different words, it was mentioned that among numerous other artists, many would happily achieve the same level of ‘unsuccess’ as Delta.

Delta recently achieved a peak in her career and, during the early part of this year, she graced the United Kingdom with a string of unique concerts to celebrate 20 years since the release of her legendary Mistaken Identity album.

The pop star even thrilled her fans with a live performance at a London train station in May.

The Australian singer gracefully took her seat at the piano once belonging to Sir Elton John, causing great joy among the assembled audience at St Pancras International Station.

Delta performed her final Australian concert at the Sydney Opera House in April, marking the 20th anniversary celebration of her album “Mistaken Identity”.

The veteran singer shocked fans when she invited Cody Simpson to the stage.  

Delta and Cody appeared relaxed while they harmoniously played a touching rendition of the song “Almost Here,” which Delta had previously sung with her ex-boyfriend Brian McFadden in the past.

Cody later took to social media to reflect on the career milestone. 

‘Thank you to the legendary Delta Goodrem for the honour tonight,’ he began.

I thoroughly enjoyed performing at the Sydney Opera House for the first time, marking the 20th anniversary of Delta’s album Mistaken Identity.

A unique event took place as a tribute to the tremendous achievement of Delta’s second album, which climbed to the top spot in Australia and made it onto charts in both the UK and New Zealand.

Delta recently married the love of her life, Matthew Copley, in Malta.

In June, the couple pledged their commitment to each other within the ancient walls of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina, a structure that dates back to the 12th century.

The reception was held at Palazzo Parisio, a stunning 18th-century estate boasting beautiful gardens, which is located in Naxxar.
