Wicked: For Good’s Dorothy star breaks silence on “life-changing” role as she shares set photos

With the release of the Wicked: For Good trailer, fans have learned who will play Dorothy Gale in Jon M Chu’s film adaptation of the popular musical. Interestingly, just like in the stage show, Dorothy’s face isn’t revealed in either the trailer or the original musical.

Bethany Weaver, an actress with experience in London’s West End and known for her role in the Wicked movies, recently discussed playing the owner of the famous dog from Kansas.

Weaver posted a heartfelt message on Instagram expressing her gratitude for being in the movie, along with some behind-the-scenes photos of herself in costume on set. She even shared a picture with the actors playing the new Tin Man and Scarecrow.
