A new trailer for Wicked: For Good has been released.

The movie *Wicked: For Good*, a sequel to the 2024 film, will be released in US theaters this November. Directed by Jon M. Chu, it continues the story from the popular 2003 stage musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman, and stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande returning as Elphaba and Glinda.

What happens in the Wicked: For Good trailer?

After the story of Wicked ends, Elphaba is labeled the Wicked Witch of the West and goes into hiding in the Ozian forest. There, she continues to fight for the rights of animals who can’t speak for themselves and tries to reveal the Wizard’s (played by Jeff Goldblum) secrets.

Glinda has become a beloved and famous figure in Oz, enjoying a life of luxury in the Emerald City. Guided by Madame Morrible (played by Michelle Yeoh), she works to keep the people happy and assure them that the Wizard is a good ruler. As unrest grows against the Wicked Witch, Glinda and Elphaba must join forces one last time. Their friendship is now crucial, and they need to truly understand and connect with each other if they hope to improve their own lives and the future of Oz.

Joining the cast are Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero Tigelaar, Marissa Bode as Nessarose Thropp, Ethan Slater as Boq Woodsman, Bowen Yang as Pfannee, Bronwyn James as ShenShen, and Sharon D. Clarke, who will provide the voice for Dulcibear.

Wicked: For Good arrives on November 21, 2025.
