As a huge fan, I’m so excited about the making-of documentary! It’s supposed to be amazing – over 50 minutes long with footage we’ve never seen before and brand new interviews. They’re also diving deep into the new songs, talking to the director, Jon M. Chu, and breaking down how they pulled off that incredible finale. It sounds like everything a fan could want!

The film also includes fun extras like the director’s commentary and a sing-along version. Best of all, you can watch seven scenes that didn’t make the final cut, giving you even more time to enjoy the world of Oz.

The removed scenes offer a lot of interesting content, including a musical number showing the Munchkins building the Yellow Brick Road and a visit from Elphaba to the place where she grew up.

If you prefer to own the movie on DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K, it will be available in the US on January 20th. A release date for the UK hasn’t been announced yet, but it should follow soon after.

This movie continues the story of Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande) after their friendship falls apart. As they disagree about the future of Oz, the film brings their journey to a close, following up on the hugely popular movie from 2024.

In a review for Digital Spy, we said that while the first Wicked movie built upon and enhanced the stage musical, the sequel – or continuation – only manages that occasionally. It doesn’t consistently reach the same heights.

Some viewers will be happy with the strong performances from Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, proving they were great choices for their roles. However, others might find that Wicked: For Good doesn’t live up to the magic of the original film.

Wicked: For Good is still playing in cinemas, and can be bought or rented digitally now.

The latest issue of Living Legends is now available, and it’s dedicated to the incredible Dolly Parton! You can purchase ‘Dolly at 80’ at newsstands or online for only £8.99.
