The musical “For Good over Wicked” recently unveiled a fresh sneak peek video, tantalizing fans by showcasing a brief snippet of a well-known tune from the production.
The official Instagram page for the movie shares a conversation video featuring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who delve into the strained relationship between their characters, Elphaba and Glinda, post the conclusion of the initial film.
In the distance, snippets of Cynthia Erivo’s rendition of the tune ‘No Good Deed’ can be faintly heard, with the key phrase being, “A good deed often encounters its own repercussions.
In simpler terms, this scene doesn’t reveal any plot secrets, but it involves Elphaba expressing her anger about the current situation. It’s a grand operatic moment where she lets loose with powerful singing.
The video includes a snippet of the song ‘For Good’, and more precisely, Glinda’s lines, “It’s been said that people enter our lives for a purpose,” are played as well.

Over the top of the music, Grande teases that “much has changed”.
As a gamer, I’d say: “I believe these two characters, Elphaba and Glinda, are venturing into fresh territories in their personal journeys. This transition, I feel, only amplifies their power even further.
She pointed out that once a scene is filmed, it can’t be recaptured, and they must transition into something entirely new, she explained further.
Director Jon M Chu mentioned that this film represents a deeper, emotional voyage exploring the repercussions of tough decisions. It’s essentially about their attempts to reunite, despite the obstacles, even when fate seems to stand in the way.
In addition, the group discussed the connection between the movie and “The Wizard of Oz,” with Erivo summarizing that “For Good” is both “wild,” “unrestrained,” and “epic.” She ended by expressing her hope that it will inspire people to continue standing up for their convictions.
The musical “For Good” will be released in November, and you can watch the original film right now on Sky or NOW Cinema.
The latest issue of Digital Spy’s print edition has arrived! You can purchase the Oasis – Live in ’25’ magazine from newsstands or online, with a price tag of only £8.99.
