Wicked: For Good debuts dazzling new Emerald City poster with leading star cast – and fans can’t contain their excitement

In a thrilling turn of events, Good has unveiled an all-new poster as we approach the second part of the movie. Fans are absolutely buzzing with anticipation!

The initial film garnered international acclaim, earning over 750 million US dollars (approximately 552 million British pounds), as reported by Billboard.

On a Wednesday, the official Instagram account of the movie revealed an eye-catching promotional picture, giving us a sneak peek into the eagerly awaited sequel set to premiere in theaters on November 21st.

The poster highlights the returning star-studded cast.

Ariana Grande is seen once again as Glinda, while Cynthia Erivo returns as Elphaba.

In this upcoming production, we see Jonathan Bailey reprising his role as Fiyero, while Jeff Goldblum once again steps into the character of the Wizard, and Michelle Yeoh continues her portrayal of Madame Morrible.

Instead of mirroring the visual style of the original, this collection suggests significant character transformations and alludes to unexpected plot twists yet to unfold.

In the picture, the five figures stand next to each other, with three of them sporting fresh, modern outfits that subtly reference the classic Broadway performance.

Last month the the first trailer for Wicked’s hotly-anticipated sequel was dropped.

In the next installment, we witness the reappearance of Elphaba, the once-feared Witch of the West, along with Glinda, the beloved Witch of the North. The narrative continues in the second part of this musical film, focusing on their relationship as it evolves following Elphaba’s exile from Oz.

In the heart of the mystical Ozian woods, I dwell as a fervent admirer in disguise, my spirit burning with passion for the cause that consumes Elphaba. As she lives in self-imposed exile, her unwavering determination to champion the rights of the voiceless creatures of Oz shines ever bright. With every breath, I strive alongside her, working tirelessly to unmask the truth about the enigmatic Wizard who holds sway over our beloved land.

In the meantime, Glinda is now widely recognized as a beacon of goodness across Oz, residing within the Emerald City’s palace, delighting in the benefits of recognition and adoration while planning her wedding with Prince Fiyero.

She, too, is following Madame Morrible’s guidance, aiming to reassure the people of Oz about The Wizard having no cause for alarm.

Meanwhile, secretly, Glinda endeavors to bring Elphaba and The Wizard back together, but this effort unfortunately widens the gap between them and their friendship.

Consequently, both Boq (Ethan Slater) and Fiyero will undergo transformations, while the security of Elphaba’s sister, Nessarose (Marissa Bode), becomes uncertain.

As the tension in Oz peaks unprecedentedly, a girl from Kansas unexpectedly bursts into their world.

Enthusiasts erupted in excitement upon catching sight of Dorothy strolling down the yellow brick path accompanied by the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and Scarecrow.

Her face remained hidden since she was depicted from behind. Curious fans flocked to Twitter, trying to uncover her true identity.

Several names have been put forward while fans try to guess who is Dorothy.

Currently, Alisha Weir, a 15-year-old actress, holds the lead position. She has gained recognition for her roles as Matilda in the Netflix production of Matilda the Musical and as the main character, Abigail, in the horror movie by the same name.

It has been proposed by some that Addison Rae or Taylor Swift might find themselves taking on the legendary role of the ruby red slippers.
