Jonathan Bailey is now People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, taking over the title from John Krasinski.
The 37-year-old English actor is enjoying a breakout year, having recently appeared with Scarlett Johansson in Jurassic World Rebirth. He’ll also be in the eagerly awaited movie Wicked: For Good later this year.
The announcement will be made on Monday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, but Page Six is reporting it has jumped the gun and revealed the news already.
Oh my gosh, Bailey is absolutely incredible as Fiyero in Wicked! He’s just… perfect as the guy who captures Glinda’s heart – seriously, the chemistry with Ariana Grande is amazing! And honestly, the way he interacts with Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba? It’s so much more than just friendship, you can feel the tension and it’s everything! I’m completely obsessed with their dynamic.
The actor, who is openly gay, sparked rumors earlier this year when he was seen kissing his “Jurassic World Rebirth” co-star, Johansson, 40, multiple times.
