As a devoted fan who’s spent countless hours immersed in the captivating worlds of sci-fi, fantasy, movies, TV and books, I’ve got to say this past week has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride!


As a long-time fan of both Game of Thrones and the Targaryen family saga, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of House of the Dragon. Having read the Fire & Blood book, I can confidently say that the upcoming third season promises to be filled with drama, intrigue, and epic battles that fans have come to expect from this franchise. With the recent news about casting, set design, and script leaks, it’s safe to say that the anticipation for this show is at an all-time high. I can hardly wait to see how the story unfolds and witness the rise and fall of House Targaryen.

We participated in the latest global event for science fiction and fantasy enthusiasts, famously recognized as Worldcon. Did you hear about our experience there?

As a longtime fan of “The Lord of the Rings,” I can’t help but roll my eyes at the latest round of complaints from its stars about money. Having worked in Hollywood for decades, I know all too well that fame and fortune often come with their fair share of drama and disputes.

George R.R. Martin provided a hint or two regarding the progress of “The Winds of Winter“, the eagerly anticipated sixth installment in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series, and as usual, it wasn’t exactly promising an immediate release.

As a dedicated fan, I had the incredible opportunity to chat with some of the talented cast members from “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” before its much-anticipated second season premieres this very week! Here’s a taste of what we discussed:

Regarding Mr. Martin, he expressed some critical opinions towards Hollywood writers who rework cherished novels with the intention of personalizing them. Does this phrase sound like a warning sign?

As a passionate fan, I can’t help but marvel at the enduring success of “Alien: Covenant – Romulus.” When considering its place amongst the Alien franchise spanning decades, it certainly holds a prominent position, captivating audiences with its unique blend of horror, science fiction, and character development.

Is the newly launched science fiction series by the creators of “The Expanse” titled “The Mercy of the Gods” worth giving a read?

The second season of “House of the Dragon” has concluded, yet HBO still has a plethora of exciting series on the horizon. Among them, none are more highly anticipated than the upcoming season of their post-apocalyptic zombie drama, “The Last of Us”.
