Matt Stone, one of the show’s creators, recently explained to The Denver Post why new episodes have been delayed. This came after an episode originally scheduled for September 17th was pushed back a week, leading some to worry it had been cancelled due to current political issues. He clarified that the episode wasn’t pulled or censored – they simply ran out of time. He admitted that working under pressure often leads to mistakes, and that’s what happened this time. Essentially, doing everything last minute doesn’t always work out.
