Why Miley Cyrus Can’t Tour and Shines in Stunning Album Performance

As a die-hard Miley Cyrus fan, I can’t contain my excitement! Despite the fact that she isn’t planning any tours just yet, I was blessed with an exclusive chance to witness her live performance during her album release event on Tuesday night. It was nothing short of magical!

At the glamorous Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, the well-known American singer captivated an illustrious audience with her distinctive gravelly voice, showcasing songs from her ninth studio album titled “Something Beautiful” during live performances.

On June 6, we’ll formally unveil the long-awaited LP along with its movie, but lucky fans got a sneak peek of its thirteen fresh tracks during the event in Los Angeles.

Stepping onto the stage, Cyrus, aged 32, was a vision of beauty in a shimmering halter-neck mini dress and stylish high heels, accompanied by a live band as she delivered her performance.

Notable attendees at the recent event included singer Rita Ora, actress Anya Taylor-Joy, and her husband Malcolm McRae (who is also a musician). A few dedicated followers of Rita’s were also present, making up the rest of the crowd.

One surprising moment of the evening unfolded when the longtime U2 frontman, Bono, revealed his secret admiration for the ex-Disney star. This revelation took place during an unsuspecting appearance he made at the Hollywood show.

The occurrence followed Cyrus posting fresh photos on Instagram, backing her album that has been receiving favorable comments even from tough-to-impress music critics.

Over time, it’s been clear that this Grammy-winning artist undeniably belongs in the realm of pop music.

Apart from being a skilled performer, she is equally passionate about the study of modern music history and its various genres. This enthusiasm is evident in her love for interpreting cover songs, as well as the breadth of styles in her extensive body of work, including her 2020 album, ‘Plastic Hearts’, which showcases a glam rock aesthetic.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say: “On her latest album, Something Beautiful, Cyrus showcases her musical versatility brilliantly. She masterfully blends various genres such as pop, rock, electronica, disco, and even funk, demonstrating that she thrives when she embraces her multifaceted identities. A prime example of this is the soulful, heartfelt anthem Easy Lover, where she seamlessly weaves these styles together.

As a devoted admirer, I’d say most of Cyrus’ album is filled with catchy tunes reminiscent of ABBA, and the track “End of the World” features a piano riff that echoes “Dancing Queen.” Yet, she masterfully blends 70s nostalgia with powerful vocals and diverse instrumentation across the entire record.

‘Cyrus arguably hasn’t had this kind of sonic variation on a record since 2010’s Can´t Be Tamed.

A stunning piece, titled identically, shares a musical movie counterpart that’s set to debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in June.

The fittingly titled opening track, ‘Prelude,’ functions as an introductory narrative, potentially misleading listeners into thinking the entire album is merely a movie’s soundtrack. However, it has its own merit and independence.

Cyrus recently revealed a shock medical condition that prevents her from touring.

The singer from the band Flowers, who has recently disclosed her stay in the Intensive Care Unit, attributes her distinctive gravelly voice to a substantial growth, which is not typical, on one of her vocal cords – a ‘very large polyp’.

She told Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show: ‘It’s a part of my unique anatomy.

This instrument or experience, in many ways, has significantly shaped my identity. However, it’s quite challenging to excel at it due to the fact that it feels like attempting a marathon while wearing additional weight on my ankles.

She characterized her tone as the “deepest pitch,” and stated that her youthful popstar experiences such as “late nights, alcohol, cigarettes, and socializing” at age 21 didn’t necessarily harm her voice, but they didn’t directly cause it either.

‘I do have this blessing of a condition that I live with. My voice is super unique because of it.’

Cyrus expressed concern about undergoing surgery for her polyp because there’s a chance she might not sound the way she currently does, which could make her performances more challenging.

She mentioned that performing live shows can be quite demanding, so any potential tour must be manageable for her, as she doesn’t use pre-recorded vocals (lip-sync).
