Why Manuel Garcia-Rulfo Says Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 Will Be the Wildest Ride Yet

Preparing for a thrilling journey with Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer, as it brings the narrative from Michael Connelly’s novel The Law of Innocence to life. This time, our protagonist, Mickey Haller, will find himself behind bars and fighting his own battles for freedom. The actor portraying the attorney, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, has shared his enthusiasm about this season, leaving me both anxious and excited.

Currently, Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer has yet to be given a release date by Netflix in their 2025 lineup, but it was recently completed. Meanwhile, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is actively promoting his upcoming movie, Jurassic World Rebirth, and during these promotions, he’s been discussing The Lincoln Lawyer as well. In an interview on Just for Variety, he was questioned about Mikey’s forthcoming tale, to which he replied.

This one stands out as particularly moving due to the circumstances of its discovery, and there are certain events associated with it that I can’t disclose, but they carry a significant emotional weight for me. I informed the showrunners that among all the scripts, this is the one I’ve found most enjoyable. While I’ve enjoyed them all, this one has resonated with me the most because of its intensity and depth.

To refresh your memory, let me summarize the closing events of “The Lincoln Lawyer”. In the third season, Mikey was falsely accused of murder after Sam Scales’ body was discovered in the back of his car. Consequently, in Season 4, we find ourselves with our lawyer character incarcerated, fighting for his own defense. Interestingly, as hinted by Garcia-Rulfo, Mikey also faces danger both in and out of court, as portrayed in the book “The Law of Innocence”, which may contribute to that intense and emotional atmosphere.

I’m growing restless as I wait for the fourth season of “The Lincoln Lawyer,” but a new series is about to premiere that might help alleviate my anticipation.

Currently, I’m thrilled that the actor found this season to be their favorite, as it boosts my anticipation for Season 4 even more. Admittedly, I had a hunch it would be exceptional; nevertheless, the positive feedback from the main performer significantly strengthens its appeal.

Listening to him talk about how “emotional” the filming process has been for him leaves me feeling quite concerned. Given that Mickey is likely to face incarceration, I can’t help but think about the tough times ahead not only for him, but also his friends, coworkers, and loved ones.

The “weight” he referred to is causing me a positive sort of unease. It seems to me that this characteristic might be evident in Mikey’s bond with his family members. Given that Neve Campbell will reappear prominently as Mickey’s former wife Maggie, I can only speculate about the strain his arrest could cause on their relationship and their shared daughter.

I’m curious about how Mickey will manage in prison given its unique challenges. Although he’s robust and determined, prison is a different kind of adversary. Given that he has a mark on him, I have safety concerns. Additionally, constructing his defense while potentially having to protect himself physically seems risky and potentially traumatic.

Despite these jittery sensations, they’re actually beneficial since a more intense and captivating storyline is preferred for TV shows. Therefore, let’s welcome the drama, gravity, and excitement! Manuel Garcia-Rulfo appeared to be quite enthused by it, and I am certain I will feel the same way once we can stream Season 4 with a Netflix subscription.
