Why isn’t Kieran Hussey in My Life Is Murder anymore?
As a devoted fan of “My Life Is Murder,” I’ve been following the intriguing storylines and character developments since its inception. The first season introduced us to Alexa, Madison, and Detective Inspector Kieran Hussey, each bringing unique elements to the table. However, one of those characters left after the first season, leaving fans questioning why.
At the start of “My Life Is Murder,” we were introduced to three key characters: Alexa, Madison, and Detective Inspector Kieran Hussey. However, one of them didn’t return for the subsequent seasons.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed that Kieran made a brief appearance during a video call back in season two. However, he’s been absent from the show since then. Now, Alexa receives her cases directly from Harry. To be honest, I didn’t take much of a liking to him at first, and he wasn’t too eager to collaborate with Alexa either.
Did Bernard Curry leave the show “Why?”; might Kieran reappear at some point in the future?; don’t hold your breath about it.
My Life Is Murder had a change of filming location
As an Aussie gamer, I can tell you that the first season of “My Life Is Murder” was not only watched by me but also produced and filmed down under. Being an Aussie myself, I could relate to the fact that the main character, Curry, is Australian too.
During the transition from the first to the second season, the production of the show shifted to New Zealand. As a result, the storyline changed location, with Alexa going back to her native country because of some personal matters. Accompanying her was Madison, but Kieran stayed behind.
I chose to stay in Australia after Alexa moved there. It felt right for my character not to follow her directly to New Zealand. Instead, I facilitated collaborations between Harry and Alexa to tackle unsolved cases by the local law enforcement.
Madison managed to stay longer than planned as she chose to accompany Alexa back to her native country. This wasn’t an invitation from Alexa, but rather a timing coincidence with Alexa’s decision to return home and Madison’s visit. Since then, the two have built a strong friendship that seems to have begun prior to Madison’s move, initially as a visitor and now as a resident.
Because Madison wasn’t tied down to the police department with strict commitments, she found it simpler to relocate with Alexa, ensuring a degree of continuity throughout the two seasons.
