It’s unusual to have a Friday evening without a new episode of Death in Paradise while the show is still on the air, but it’s happening again. For the second time this season, the BBC crime series won’t be shown at its usual time. Tonight, instead of the 9pm showing on BBC One, viewers will see Match of the Day, featuring the FA Cup game between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool.

You don’t have to wait to watch the next episode of Death in Paradise! It will be available on BBC iPlayer from 8:45pm tonight (Friday, March 6th). If you like to stream, you’ll find out what happens to Mervin after that dramatic cliffhanger.
If you prefer watching BBC One in the usual way, you’ll need to wait until Monday the 9th to see episode six of Death in Paradise, which will air at 9pm.

What’s going to happen in Death in Paradise’s next episode?
The last time we saw Mervin, he was traveling to Antigua to see his half-brother, Solomon. He hoped they could mend their relationship and talk about what to do with their mother’s belongings after she passed away. But things didn’t go as planned – the episode ended with Mervin waking up confused and tied to a chair.
What to Read Next
The BBC hinted at upcoming events, and it seems Mervin has been taken hostage. Plus, the detective has unexpectedly found himself involved in a crime.
A businessman has been shot in a secluded cabin, and two suspects – Solomon and Cheech – are each blaming the other. They’re both trying to convince Mervin of their version of events, and Mervin won’t let either of them leave until he knows who’s telling the truth. Someone is lying, but which one?
