There’s quite a buzz among Daredevil fans at the moment. A clip of an interview with Charlie Cox has spread like wildfire, causing some to worry that the upcoming season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again might be its last. However, things might not be as grim as they appear.

Will Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 get canceled after Season 2?

Following numerous years of anticipation, Daredevil enthusiasts were overjoyed to witness the long-awaited debut of a fresh season. The much-desired return of Daredevil, titled “Daredevil: Born Again,” graced screens on Disney+ in March 2025, leaving viewers ecstatic with delight.

In a recent GalaxyCon interview, Charlie Cox shared insights about his costume in Season 2 and throughout the series. During their chat, he mentioned an intriguing element exclusive to the final season of the show that isn’t found in the original comics, leaving him quite thrilled about it.

On GalaxyCon’s Instagram, a post by the actor was shared which he labeled as “the concluding series.” However, given that it might have been an inadvertent slip-up where he meant to say “the newest” season, numerous fans remained unconvinced about the accuracy of the label.

Because Cox avoids social media, followers instead sought out Vincent D’Onofrio, known as the Kingpin. On platform X, a fan inquired, “Is this accurate? I believed there were plans for Season 3?” To which D’Onofrio responded, “A good possibility exists for a third season.” This response fueled hopes that the Hell’s Kitchen Devil might continue beyond Season 2.

During the Daredevil: Born Again press tour, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation, highlighted their strategic approach. In an interview with Brandon Davis, he emphasized that they will only produce content when they believe it is ripe for multiple seasons.

According to Winderbaum’s remarks, there may yet be plans for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, and potentially further seasons as well.
