This evening, viewers who were eagerly waiting for Death in Paradise might experience a letdown because the scheduled airing has been changed unexpectedly.
Tonight was supposed to be the end of the first season for DI Mervin Wilson’s debut on the BBC series, but due to a scheduling adjustment, the final episode has been postponed until next Friday instead.
Last week’s update has me pretty excited! It turns out that, due to Comic Relief airing tonight, our favorite episode has been rescheduled. However, fear not, the season will still wrap up as planned – right here on March 28th, at the usual time of 9pm sharp. Can’t wait!

Instead, the show is set to compensate for missed time by offering a twofold exploration of the Paradise universe on the same night. Specifically, the third season debut of the spin-off series, titled Beyond Paradise, will kick off at 8pm prior to the main show.
Tonight’s Comic Relief will have a hint of paradise as well, with the series “Beyond Paradise” and the sitcom “Not Going Out” combining for a brand-new sketch.
In the upcoming scenes, there may be a case of confusion because the actress Sally Bretton, known for her role as Martha Lloyd in “Beyond Paradise,” takes on another role as Lucy, Lee’s wife, in “Not Going Out.

Bretton remarked that it was an enjoyable experience when the two realms intersected, taking on my own counterpart and being caught up in the chaos associated with that. What made it even more exceptional was that it was all done for the remarkable charity, Comic Relief.
Due to the rapid pace at which the sketch was recorded, it was challenging to tell which direction we were moving. I’m baffled by how Lee Mack manages to keep track of everything simultaneously. It was an entertaining day full of amusement, perplexity, and hearty chuckles for everyone.
In a recent statement, actor Kris Marshall from the show “Beyond Paradise” expressed his desire for all five detectives from “Death in Paradise”, including his character DI Humphrey Goodman, to reunite on screen.
Death in Paradise and its spin-off, Beyond Paradise, both air on BBC One and stream on BBC iPlayer.
