It is claimed that President Donald Trump was the cause behind Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes not appearing together during Sunday’s Super Bowl, as their presence might have resulted in a public relations disaster.

The renowned vocalist and Brittany were both in attendance at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. Unfortunately, they ended up losing to the Philadelphia Eagles.

To put it in my own words as an ardent fan, unlike the previous games over the past year where they were side by side, rooting for their teammates Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, this time around, I couldn’t help but notice a striking change – they were seated in separate suites, seemingly not engaging with each other.

According to exclusive reports, DailyMail.com states that Brittany was told to avoid Taylor’s area on Sunday evening due to worries about comments President Trump might make, as both were expected to be present.

According to the source, Brittany chose to stay away from Taylor due to Trump being at the game, and she had been told to maintain that separation.

In August of 2022, Brittany, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick, stirred up a heated reaction among liberals after showing support for former President Trump by liking a related social media post.

Weeks have passed, and Taylor publicly expressed her support for Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign. However, it should be noted that she had remained silent on the matter concerning her friend’s rumored backing of a Republican political figure.

According to the source, it could be logical given that Taylor appeared taken aback when the crowd loudly booed her and her picture was displayed on the stadium’s screens.

The insider acknowledged that it might have become a public relations crisis if they had sat side by side, considering Taylor was jeered. Moreover, everyone was alerted that Trump was likely to mention Taylor somehow, and indeed he did.

In a beneficial move for both parties, considering Trump’s previous comments about Taylor and him being present, it would be wise for them not to be seated next to one another.

Following the Chiefs’ defeat, Trump posted on his Truth Social media: ‘Nobody had a harder night than the Kansas City Chiefs, except perhaps Taylor Swift…’

‘She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!’

The President hasn’t held back his criticism towards the songwriter on previous occasions. Last year, he made headlines for publicly expressing his dislike of Taylor Swift, after she endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.

Initially, DailyMail.com disclosed that the attack greatly troubled Brittany, causing her to ponder over her backing of Trump.

Another confidant revealed that several people close to Brittany believed Trump might attempt to criticize his friend through Brittany, essentially taking an unfair jab or cheap shot at them.

‘Friends feel Trump uses Brittany and her husband Patrick to get to Taylor,’ the insider dished. 

Despite Brittany not publicly endorsing Trump, her actions and her family’s vocal support lead him to believe she is indeed a supporter. And she hasn’t refuted this claim either.

The source noted that Brittany maintains a greater separation in public due to this fact: “Brittany is being manipulated by Trump as part of his strategy to connect with her circle. Trump recognizes their friendship and he is highly divisive.

Whenever there’s an opportunity for him to make a low blow against Taylor, he doesn’t hesitate. It’s probably why Brittany chose to maintain some distance from him.

In August 2024, observant social media users noticed that Brittany had liked a post connecting 16 of Donald Trump’s policies to his following of 26.3 million people. The subjects varied from immigration matters to economic aspects.

Actions similar to those elicited significant backlash from liberal groups on social platforms, while Brittany seemed to respond sharply to her detractors with a heated retort online.

In other words, they might be grappling with issues from their childhood that they haven’t taken the time to heal.

After those weeks, Taylor stopped appearing to watch games alongside Brittany, however, they still spent time together outside of the match events.

At Taylor’s 35th birthday celebration, Brittany was present, and they both dined with their NFL associates a few days prior to the upcoming Super Bowl match on Sunday.

On that particular evening, Taylor’s exclusive area was where she shared the experience of watching the Chiefs lose with the Haim sisters (Alana, Este, and Danielle), rapper Ice Spice, musician Machine Gun Kelly, fashion stylist and influencer Ashley Avignone, her long-standing friend Ross Travis, and Travis’ manager Aaron Eanes.

At the event, the singer was accompanied by her brother Austin, father Scott, as well as Travis (presumably a different person), his father Ed, mother Donna, brother Jason, and his wife Kylie.

Other pals included sports physical therapist Alex Skacel, Patrick Bacon and Harry Clark. 

However, it’s worth noting that Blake Lively wasn’t there at the event, as she is currently involved in a legal dispute with Justin Baldoni.
