TEKKEN 8’s Season 3 characters were revealed at the TWT 2025 Finals. A new trailer showcased three fighters joining the game, along with approximate release dates.

Okay, so I’m super excited about TEKKEN 8 Season 3! We’re getting Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. as playable characters, which is awesome. But the biggest surprise? There’s also a completely new, secret fighter coming! We’ve gotten hints from the official trailer, and some interesting stuff has even leaked on Steam about when we can expect them all to drop. I can’t wait!

The recently released Season 3 poster reveals the approximate release timeframe for new downloadable characters in TEKKEN 8.

The TEKKEN 8 Season 3 Pass is now available on Steam, and the purchase includes a schedule for when new characters will be released.

  • Kunimitsu — Late Spring, April–June 2026
  • Bob — Summer, July–September 2026
  • Roger Jr. — Autumn, October–December 2026
  • An unknown character — Winter, January–March 2027

When will Kunimitsu join TEKKEN 8?

Kunimitsu joins TEKKEN 8 within the window of April–June 2026.

Okay, so the game’s looking to drop right around Evo Japan in 2026 – that’s May 1st to 3rd. It’s timed to kick off the new TEKKEN World Tour 2026, which is awesome! I’m already marking my calendar.

When is the release of Bob in TEKKEN 8 Season 3?

The release window for Bob is July–September 2026.

We’re planning to host esports tournaments for TEKKEN 8, including the TEKKEN 8 Esports World Cup 2026 from August 4th to 7th, and CEO 2026 from August 17th to 19th.

When will Roger Jr. be added to TEKKEN 8?

Rojer Jr. will be added to TEKKEN 8 within the release window October–December 2026.

Evo France 2026 is a nice event to time this release for: from Oct. 9 to Oct. 11.

Who is the last TEKKEN 8 DLC character of Season 3, and when will they join the roster?

We don’t yet know who the last character joining TEKKEN 8 in Season 3 will be. The reveal is expected to happen at a major esports event this year, and Evo Las Vegas is often where announcements like this are made. Evo Las Vegas 2026 is scheduled for June 26-28.

The new character will be added to TEKKEN 8 sometime between January and March 2027.
