The final season of *Euphoria* is bringing in some well-known guest stars. Trisha Paytas, a popular internet personality, along with horror director Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne (from *Orange Is the New Black*), Danielle Deadwyler (*The Woman in the Yard*), and Sam Trammell (*True Blood*) will all appear in the show.
I’m so excited about the new cast joining *Euphoria* for Season 3! I was thrilled to hear that Sharon Stone, known from *Basic Instinct*, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who I loved in *Oz*, will be making appearances. And can you believe Marshawn Lynch from *80 for Brady* is joining too? Toby Wallace (*Babyteeth*) and Darell Britt-Gibson (*Fear Street*) are great additions, and I’m especially intrigued to see what Rosalía brings to the show. *Variety* also mentioned a bunch of other fantastic guest stars like Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, and Rebecca Pidgeon – it’s going to be an amazing season!
Zendaya will be back as Rue Bennett for the final season of the show, joined by her fellow stars including Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow. However, Storm Reid, who played Rue’s sister Gia, will not be appearing this season. Also missing will be the character of Fez, played by Angus Cloud. Sadly, Cloud passed away in July 2023, and the show will not be recasting his role.
Filming for the third season of *Euphoria* started earlier this year, after a long break following the Season 2 finale in February 2022. While HBO Max hasn’t announced a release date yet, the new season—which will have eight episodes—is currently expected to premiere sometime in Spring 2026.
‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Promises a Time-Jump Twist

HBO
Now that high school is over for the characters, season 3 of *Euphoria* will jump forward in time to show what their lives are like as young adults. Zendaya discussed this change in an October 2024 interview with *Entertainment Weekly*’s “The Awardist” podcast, explaining that it was a necessary step. The actress, known for her role in *Spider-Man: Homecoming*, noted that the show had explored most of the typical high school experiences and that continuing down that path would have become predictable.
I’m really excited to see these characters grow up and navigate life beyond high school! It’s going to be so interesting to see how all their experiences as teenagers shape the adults they become, and how they handle a much bigger, more complex world. Honestly, I can’t wait to see what happens to them.
I was really intrigued when I heard about the potential time jump in the next season of *Euphoria*. Zendaya herself didn’t give specifics, but the costume designer, Heidi Bivens, mentioned in a *Vogue* interview last April that they were discussing a jump of around five years! It sounds like Sam Levinson, the creator, really wants to shake things up and avoid repeating himself. Bivens said it’ll likely be a wild ride and something completely fresh for viewers to unpack – and honestly, knowing his work, I’m expecting nothing less. She playfully hinted at a big change, saying it’s going to be a trip! I’m definitely excited to see where he takes the story.
