They ran it back at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door this year, and WWE quickly swiped her off the free agency market. This led many to speculate that WWE wasn’t familiar with her until that match, but it eventually came out that Vaquer had a tryout with WWE years prior and wasn’t picked up by the company at the time.
