In the debut episode, the 38-year-old performer leaped from a helicopter and participated in the initial BushTucker Challenge for the program.
He wasn’t able to accomplish it without the aid of his loving spouse, Georgia Horsley (age 37), and their six-year-old son, Cooper.
Danny had been dating Georgia for four years when he proposed to her in 2013 on holiday in Cyprus.

Originating from Malton, North Yorkshire, Georgia suffered hearing loss in her right ear after contracting meningitis at the age of two.

As a youngster, I juggled two passions – flower arranging and modeling. However, it was in 2007, when I turned 21, that my life took an unexpected turn. That year, I was crowned Miss England. During this time, I also used my platform to advocate for the deaf community, sharing my experiences and raising awareness about hearing impairment.
Besides discussing how the pageant committee urged her to gain weight, she emphasized that this was to prove that contestants were not suffering from an eating disorder.
Later she entered Miss World and was one of the last 18 finalists during the China-held contest.
She now has a successful modelling career doing television adverts, magazine work and catwalks.
On Sunday, Danny’s son Cooper was completely mesmerised as he watched his father enter the jungle.

Georgia captioned her post: ‘Little boy was so excited to see his dad.’
Danny brought his guitar, which his son had drawn a family portrait on with the words “We love you Daddy” written across, into I’m A Celebrity as his personal luxury item.
Danny is currently the preferred choice by bookmakers to win this year’s title, “King of the Jungle” on ITV, with odds at 2:1.
When asked why he thought that was, Danny beamed and shouted: ‘Because McFly fans are awesome.’
This year, it seems likely that the fame of the ’00s pop group could help them win I’m A Celebrity, according to ITV insiders, given his increased popularity from being a coach on their show, The Voice.
The star power that comes with being a member of McFly should not be underestimated with tried and tested magic to help Danny beat the likes of super WAG Coleen Rooney and N-Dubz’s Tulisa.
Danny, together with Harry Judd, Dougie Poynter, and Tom Fletcher, started their band in 2003 as Busted was breaking up.
Now, due to the unwavering loyalty of their substantial fanbase, primarily women aged between late twenties and early thirties, they have found their ideal voting demographic – those who favor their choice in the jungle.
An ITV source told TopMob: ‘Danny is a golden ticket of a signing for I’m A Celebrity.
As a devoted admirer, I must express that his performance as a judge on The Voice has been nothing short of remarkable. The audience’s satisfaction with him is palpable – he exudes brilliance as a mentor, carries an infectious energy of a winner, and undeniably ignites the passion of fans.
Indeed, there is already evidence. Dougie was crowned jungle king in 2011, while Tom’s wife, the influencer Giovanna Fletcher won in 2020.
In addition, Harry claimed victory in the Strictly Cone Dance competition back in 2011 as well. Insiders at the BBC reported that his win was overwhelming, with them describing it as “leagues apart.” They also commended the dedicated support shown by McFly fans.
In 2006, Matt Willis, who is one of the singers in the band Busted, emerged victorious on the show. After that, McFly and Busted joined forces to form a new band called McBusted.
If Danny wins the main ITV program this year, it will be his third victory of the year, following his success in The Masked Singer competition and his appointment as a judge on The Voice.
‘I’m going for the Pep Guardiola,’ the father-of-one joked.
Given that Danny’s chances of winning I’m A Celebrity are now 2-1, he exclaimed, “Go for it, Jonsey!” upon hearing that the public is already supporting him.
He jokingly added: ‘I would definitely put all of your mortgage on me.’
