This new model, the 25SS, integrates traditional Japanese elements with contemporary technology. The innovative “HOVER” sole, created by goyemon, provides improved cushioning while maintaining the distinctive geta-inspired design. The sandal’s footbed boasts White Mountaineering’s custom jacquard pattern, which resembles the intricate bleed and shading of ink paintings, offering a soft texture and artistic flair. Priced at around $261 USD (¥37,400), the “unda” will be available in black at White Mountaineering stores and online.
