Anuttacon has announced its first sci-fi, real-time story adventure title, Whispers from the Star, with its limited Closed Beta Test (CBT) set to launch soon on iOS in the United States. This interactive storytelling project from miHoYo founder Cai Haoyu, has opened pre-registration for the upcoming CBT.

Whispers from the Star is a real-time, interactive story game set in deep space, redefining interactive storytelling by moving beyond traditional dialogue trees. With AI-enhanced dialogues, the game enables open-ended conversations, giving you an immersive and personal feeling.

In the course of this game, you’ll encounter Stella, a resolute astrophysics student. The narrative unfolds as she finds herself stranded on an alien planet named Gaia following a crash-landing. Your objective is to provide aid by exchanging text, voice, and video messages with her throughout the day.

Respond to real-time messages and notifications, and more

Stella shares her thoughts, fears, and dreams, and your responses influence her actions and decisions in real-time. I am excited about this concept, offering an innovative approach to narrative-driven games. Moreover, the seamless use of AI creates smooth conversations, making every interaction meaningful.

There’s more to the game, allowing you to engage with real-time messages and notifications, responding instantly or catching up when you want. Plus, you can revisit key moments, and reconsider your choices to change the outcome. I am also looking forward to Stella’s transmissions, revealing photos and scenes from Gaia.
