Love Island really has proved to be just that, so far leading to four marriages and eight children.

In the second series, there were several notable triumphs, among them Olivia and Alex Bowen who got married five years ago and have since become parents to one child, with another on the way.

The winners of that show, Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde, not only triumphed but also continue to thrive, maintaining a happy marriage and raising two beautiful children. In contrast, the couple from series three, Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt, have expanded their family with three lovely kids.

It’s widely recognized that Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury hold a strong position in the popular ITV dating series. They continued to excel, reaching new heights after the arrival of their first child and announcing their engagement.

Last summer, they left fans disheartened when they unexpectedly parted ways. However, it appears that they have reignited their relationship more recently.

In the meantime, another wedding may be on the horizon, as Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan are planning to get married later in the year during winter 2023.

By the end of that same month, we were nestled together in a cozy Manchester abode upon our return to the UK. After departing the villa, the pair continued to thrive and reached new heights. In January 2023, they became parents for the first time, welcoming their two-year-old son, named Bambi. Later on in July of the same year, they announced their engagement.

Last summer, Molly-Mae’s followers were taken aback when she revealed that she and Tommy had ended their relationship, which had lasted for five years.

In a message shared with her 8.5 million Instagram fans, Molly admitted to the split, expressing, “I never envisioned our tale would conclude, let alone in this manner.

In an interview, Tommy dismissed ongoing rumors about his infidelity, emphatically stating that allegations concerning him spending time with other females were entirely false or baseless.

In her Behind It All documentary, Molly-Mae later revealed that Tommy’s heavy drinking played a significant role in their separation.

For several months, the duo openly handled shared parenting duties for their daughter Bambi, with Tommy frequently spotted at Molly-Mae’s residence.

Once more, the internet buzzed with excitement in December as a video suggesting that Tommy and Molly-Mae shared a New Year’s Eve kiss became widely popular – an incident she subsequently addressed in her Amazon Prime documentary.

For several months, there were persistent whispers that the two had reignited their relationship, as they were often seen vacationing together.

Last month, Molly-Mae officially announced their reconciliation when she started showcasing more of Tommy on her Instagram again, posting a heartwarming family photo.

Series 2, 2016

Back in 2016, I was just another viewer hooked on season two of Love Island, little did I know it would change my life forever! I found myself rooting for none other than Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen. These two lovebirds met on the show, and let me tell you, their chemistry was electrifying! They ended up placing second, but to me, they were the ultimate winners. Ever since then, I’ve been following their love story with bated breath, feeling like a part of their journey as an obsessed fan!

After only five months of being together, the couple decided to live under the same roof just a few weeks into their relationship. Alex then popped the question during a charming New York City getaway in December.

Back in September 2018, Olivia and Alex, previously a sales executive and a scaffolder, got married in the inaugural Love Island wedding. This special event took place surrounded by loved ones, relatives, and fellow reality TV cast members at Gosfield Hall, located in Essex.

They both took to Instagram to share loved-up throwback snaps from their big day in 2018.

On Loose Women, she openly discussed their heartbreaking ordeal involving vanishing twin syndrome, sharing the details of their unfortunate incident.

They learned that they would be having twins during a six-week ultrasound, which happened right before Christmas.

Olivia informed the panel: “We arrived exceptionally early, given that I’m somewhat anxious by nature. Upon arrival, we had a friend in the backseat with us, as we believed everything would proceed routinely.

Upon seating ourselves, I spotted not one but two infants. This caught me off guard significantly. Being related to twins myself, the moment we discovered it, I started feeling apprehensive since our family history with twins hasn’t been particularly smooth.

Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt

Series 3, 2017 

In series three, Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt came very close but ultimately didn’t win, ending up in the runner-up position.

Initially, Camilla’s love life didn’t go as planned on the ITV2 dating show, when her relationship with Jonny Mitchell concluded as he started pursuing Tyla Carr instead.

However things turned around when she met Calvin Klein model, Jamie.

In February 2019, they settled into their new residence, having previously stayed with his parents, post their departure from the ITV2 dating program.

The next year saw them announcing that they were having their first child as a duo, and in October 2020, they joyously introduced a baby girl named Nell into their lives.

In the month of February 2021, Jamie put forth a proposal to Camilla while their little girl was dressed in a custom-made onesie that carried the message: “Mommy, will you marry my Dad?

A year ago, the couple got married in a heartwarming wedding ceremony, and they recently shared that they are anticipating their second child due in December.

Back in May 2022, they officially welcomed their second bundle of joy, a precious little girl named Nora Belle Jewitt, into their family.

They posted a touching video showcasing pictures of their prematurely born baby girl, who arrived earlier than expected in June.

The couple announced the birth of their third child, son Brodie, in May.

Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde

Series 2, 2016

It wasn’t just Olivia and Alex who found love on season two. 

Beyond just staying together, Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde have moved on to the next phase of their relationship – they are now husband and wife and have started a family, welcoming two beautiful children into their lives.

Yet, their journey towards happiness didn’t go smoothly; they parted ways just under a year following the show, when Cara was expecting Nathan’s child.

However, they made up during the Christmas season of 2017, just a few short weeks prior to Cara giving birth to their child named Freddie-George.

Later on, the pair returned to the Love Island house, and Nathan took Cara by surprise when he proposed marriage to her.

In the summer of 2019, they had a modest wedding ceremony. Their daughter, Delilah, was born in 2020.

Additionally, they’ve made an appearance on TOWIE, just like numerous Love Island participants after their time in the villa.

Previously, Cara mentioned to TopMob: “To be truthful, I don’t really follow Love Island now because the contestants are incredibly attractive, which makes me feel anxious as I watch them stroll about. It makes me think, ‘I don’t resemble that any longer.’

I find it quite challenging, and honestly, I wouldn’t consider participating in Love Island anymore. The show has grown so massive that I feel it might cause unnecessary stress for me.

In our case with Nathan and me, the earlier series revolved around love; there were no preconceived notions about Love Island’s nature.

Eager as ever, I found myself drawn into that place, not just to save on rent for a few weeks, but something more. I was a tad peculiar, thinking no one would take notice of me. Little did I know, fate had other plans! I stumbled upon love instead, and there, amidst the chaos, I met my beloved husband!

Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope

Series 8, 2022 

In the 2022 season, contestants Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope made it to the finals, ultimately finishing in third position during the summer run of the show.

In their intense Casa Amor split, they famously said, “Let the most skilled heartbreaker prevail,” prior to reconciling and gaining widespread popularity among fans.

Over the past three years since departing from the villa, their relationship has flourished, becoming a prominent power couple. Frequently, they work together on business ventures, particularly when it comes to brand partnerships.

On one of Indiyah’s birthdays, Dami organized a surprise party where he expressed his gratitude for the love that feels meaningful.

A man born in Ireland referred to his girlfriend as his “crazy accomplice” when speaking about their relationship, offering fans a peek behind the scenes of their life together, beyond the villa.

Using assistance from his management crew, Dami transformed a hotel suite into a vibrant setting, filled with clusters of turquoise balloons and multiple arrangements of white roses.

In the corner, atop a plush couch, sat several bags filled with birthday presents for the lady – adorned with items from high-end labels like Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

In the caption, the microbiologist expressed joyfully: ‘Happy Birthday darling, thanks for a love that feels right.’

In simpler terms, “Quick shout-out to Marj and Pops! They did an amazing job with your creation. I hope all your wildest dreams come true in this new phase of life, and congratulations on all your recent achievements!

In a more straightforward and conversational manner: “#24 is going to be even more outrageous, and I know this because it’s been planned ahead! Thank you for everything that you are – sometimes annoying and other times too, my unpredictable partner in crime. Happy National Day, love you from tip to tail.

Jess and Dom Lever

Series 3, 2017 

Jess and Dom Lever met on series 3 of Love Island in 2017 but only got together outside the villa. 

They both left separately and early on in the series.  

They became engaged following three months together, and later got married during a charming wedding on the Greek island of Mykonos in October 2018.

In May 2019, seven months after getting married, they announced they were going to have their first child. Their son, named Presley, was born in September of the same year.

Back in March of 2022, I, an overjoyed fan, couldn’t help but scream with excitement as Jess, at the ripe age of 30, and Dom, a dashing 33, revealed their incredible news—their family is expanding! They shared a heartwarming video that captured not just one, but several significant moments: Jess taking her pregnancy test, glimpses of a baby scan, and most touching of all, their precious son Presley planting sweet kisses on his mother’s growing belly. Accompanying this beautiful visual journey was the caption that read, ‘Our family is growing.’ I couldn’t be happier for them!

In June 2022, Jess welcomed their second baby boy into the world, and ever since then, they’ve been delighting us with snapshots of their new family on social media.

The pair reside in Devon, a place that’s familiar to Jess, and at the moment, they’re working on transforming their ideal residence.

Luke Mabbott and Lucie Donlan 

Series 6, 2020 and series 5, 2019

Luke Mabbott and Lucie Donlan, who gained popularity on separate seasons of Love Island, are well-known figures. Specifically, Luke, a former heating engineer, rose to prominence during the inaugural winter season of the show back in 2020.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but reminisce about the unforgettable moments when the radiant surfing sensation and beauty queen, Lucie, graced our screens on Love Island 2019. For a while, she shared a captivating bond with fellow contestant, Joseph Garratt.

In the end, Luke advanced to the last round of the winter edition of ITV’s dating program, however, he parted ways with Demi Jones not long after that.

The happy pair met in July 2020 after Lucie revealed that she messaged Luke first on social media. 

A year passed, and they became engaged on December 2023. Luke made his proposal an unforgettable moment by doing it romantically amidst the Northern Lights while they were vacationing in Finland.

The northern lights provided the ideal backdrop for popping the question, making Mrs. Mabbott soon-to-be someone’s bride. That night will remain etched in our minds forever.)

Back in April, I proudly announced that my fiancé, Luke, and I had secured our dream wedding venue for the upcoming year. We’re beyond excited to exchange vows and celebrate this milestone together!

Last summer, I made the decision to list my cherished Cornish cottage for sale, barely three years after declaring it as my ultimate dream dwelling.

Lucie renovated the quaint seaside house in Cubert, near Newquay alongside her fiance Luke.

The duo has been bringing their faithful fans on this adventure with them, and they’ve been sharing updates about their progress on Instagram. Their aim is to raise approximately £475,000 for the property by doing so.

Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan

Series 9, 2023

Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan snatched the win during the Winter Love Island 2023 series.

During their stint on the ITV show, they eventually formed an exclusive relationship, even though they weren’t originally paired together in the villa, as she joined during the time of Casa Amor when relationships were tested.

The pair has been consistently sharing their journey with their followers through social media platforms, since they’ve been commuting between Manchester and Bedfordshire regularly to see each other.

In April 2024, Kai and Sanam made their engagement official while out boating in Cambridge. Sanam, who works as a social worker, was beautifully dressed in a bridal white outfit, and Kai was sporting a jacket of the same color.

In a heartwarming snapshot, they shared a deep kiss, followed by the joyous act of opening champagne to celebrate, all over again.

In an interview with OK! magazine, I shared how my partner and I have made significant adjustments in our lives to ensure our relationship’s continuity.

Kai stated that the relationships in Love Island differ from those in everyday life because they face intense pressure once they step out of the villa.

The key distinction between Sanam and me lies in the dilemma you face: prioritizing either the potential fame associated with the show, or maintaining the connection in your romantic relationship.

Instead of attending parties, what we crave is spending time with each other. Every minute spent together is cherished, and we share interests as well.

After departing from the villa, they went back to their respective professions in education and social services. Later on this summer, they plan to get married.

Will Young and Jessie Wynter

Series 9, 2023

In the chilly season of 2023, Young Will and Jessie Wynter charmed the British public during their stint on Winter Love Island, making a memorable entrance as a surprise addition to the villa.

Jessie appeared as a contestant during season two of Love Island Australia, and most recently participated in the UK adaptation of the series, which finished shooting a few months back in South Africa.

She found herself in the same place where she formed a relationship with Will. After experiencing deep affection for him, they chose to reside together in Buckinghamshire on his family’s farm.

They frequently explore different parts of the globe as a duo, and they continually journey between his British countryside homestead and her Australian birthplace.

Jessie, hailing originally from Tasmania, had previously resided in Sydney prior to her return to Love Island.

The joyous pair frequently create TikTok videos together, and they have recorded their short stay in Australia as well, returning there just last month.

Although they seem to be having a great time in the city, Jesse had earlier mentioned that she intends to live in the UK for an extended period if she manages to secure a visa.

Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble

In the scorching heat of Summer 2023, Molly and Zach crossed paths on Love Island, but their journey together ended in March 2024 following a passionate seven-month romance.

After deciding to part ways romantically, they erased all signs of each other from their social media accounts.

Their reps told TopMob they had ended on ‘good terms’ and remained ‘extremely close friends’.

Six short weeks after their separation, the pair found themselves back together once more, setting off for a thrilling two-month adventure traversing the vast expanses of Australia.

Last summer at the BST Festival, it appeared I rekindled my relationship judging by our heartwarming photos we posted together.

In July, Zach and Molly walked the red carpet together again at the Fly Me To The Moon UK Gala screening in London, showing unity.

As a devoted partner, I seldom share our lives on social media platforms, as we both focus on nurturing our individual careers. However, rest assured that we remain steadfast in our relationship.

Molly Smith and Tom Clare

All Stars series, 2024

In the first season of All Stars, the winning duo comprised returning Islanders Molly Smith and Tom Clare, while Callum Jones and Eve Gale finished as runners-up.

In an unexpected turn of events, Molly made a stunning entrance in 2020 during the winter edition of the show, leaving her former boyfriend, Callum, utterly astounded when they crossed paths.

Spectators found themselves rooting for the prospect of Molly and Callum re-establishing their three-year old romance, yet it was the fitness model who chose to pursue a romantic relationship with Tom over them.

Approximately a fortnight following the conclusion of their show, Callum and Eve parted ways, a situation that unfolded amidst reports suggesting Callum was involved with another woman. However, Callum asserts these accusations are false, as they had previously decided to part ways before this alleged incident occurred.

After her triumph at All Stars, Molly has landed a number of profitable agreements, such as collaborations with clothing store boohoo, US-based fitness supplement brand Alani Nu, jewelry company Abbott Lyon, and cosmetic companies L’Oréal Paris and Maybelline on a global scale.

Last year, Molly spoke with TopMob and shared: ‘At times, you might wonder, “Is this too good to last?” but I must admit, our relationship feels flawless at the moment. I wouldn’t want to jinx it, but living together seems like a natural next step for us. In essence, we’ve been cohabiting unofficially, just waiting to make it official.’

Initially, our age gap troubled me, yet I’ve encountered individuals in my past who were older but demonstrated less maturity than Tom.

For someone his age, Tom displays an impressive level of maturity, and he has shown me more consideration and respect than any other person I’ve interacted with.

Sophie Piper and Joshua Ritchie 

All Stars series, 2024 

Sophie and Josh ended up in third position during Love Island All Stars 2024, having been paired together from a day after Sophie joined the Villa.

In March 2024, Josh shared on his Instagram story that he proposed to Sophie as his girlfriend but she declined, stating: “We aren’t quite ready for a relationship like that, I believe.

In the video he posted, Josh displayed a hotel room bed adorned with rose petals and the phrase “will you be my girlfriend?” spelled out using those very petals.

Josh pointed the camera at Sophie and remarked, “Check this out! Luckily, she declined.” Sophie responded hesitantly, “Well, I don’t believe we’ve reached that point just yet. There are still many things we need to work through first.

As Sophie chatted away, I found myself erupting in laughter, making clear to my audience that her words were meant more in jest than fact.

Rochelle Humes’ sister verified it by posting on her Instagram Story, sharing a picture of the bed and saying with laughter, “That’s the cutest!” (using informal language for emphasis).

After more than a year, the pair’s love remains vibrant, as evidenced by Sophie’s heartfelt birthday message for him just recently.

She expressed her joy by saying, “You light up my world, fill my heart with love, and improve my life in countless ways. Wishing you the happiest of birthdays, my wonderful boyfriend!

Elma Pazar and Sammy Root

All Stars series, 2025 

Elma Pazar and Sammy Root ended up in fifth place during January’s Love Island All Stars series.

The duo has faced scrutiny regarding their large age difference, as certain viewers speculate that their on-screen relationship might be a mere acting charade or romantic arrangement for the show.

Over the past few weeks, a duo has sparked intrigue as Elma uploaded a TikTok video discussing potential warning signs or issues, which she referred to as ‘red flags’.

In the post, Elma showed off her toned midriff wearing a black crop top and jeans while dancing to the track ‘Revolving Door’ by Tate McRae. Accompanying the video, she wrote: ‘When it takes forever for him to respond…’

But they shut down rumours they have split in an Instagram post at the end of April.

The pair, who share screen time on TOWIE, showed that their romance is very much alive by spending a delightful evening together over a romantic meal at Alec’s Restaurant Bar & Grill in Brentwood.

Sammy verified that things continue to improve, as he captured footage of the popular reality star entering the restaurant.

Sammy explained to The Mirror why they don’t connect on social media: “Things are going smoothly for us. We’re simply focusing on our individual paths and maintaining privacy as best we can. After being in the spotlight, everyone has an opinion, so we prefer to keep a low profile.

Harriet Blackmore and Ronnie Vint

All Stars series, 2025

Last summer’s Love Island pairing found themselves eliminated jointly, then dated for several months before ultimately parting ways.

On Love Island: All Stars, which took place in January, Harriet and Ronnie reignited their relationship and have been flourishing ever since.

In June, it was disclosed that the couple will be deepening their relationship by living together, as Harriett and her partner have decided to move in together.

She told The Mirror: ‘In June. Everything’s happening at once.

‘We’re moving up towards London, which is exciting.

‘We’re very near to Matilda [Draper], so we’ll be frequently visiting her, and traveling between our places quite often.’

In the Love Island series 11, which aired in 2024, Harriett and Ronnie first kindled their relationship. However, this romantic connection didn’t endure over time.

In early 2025, they successfully resolved their issues on All Stars, and it appears they’ve been thriving ever since.

Grace Jackson and Luca Bish

All Stars series, 2025

In the recently concluded All Stars series this year, Grace and Luca discovered their affection for each other and ended up as the first runners-up, trailing behind winners Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman. However, it seems that Gabby and Casey have parted ways since then.

The couple demonstrated the resilience of their bond, as former islander Olivia Hawkins alleged that the model was merely seeking a romantic relationship for the sake of the show.

However, in March, Luca faced criticism due to his excessive approach when proposing to Grace for dating, a style that seemed remarkably alike to how he proposed to his previous girlfriend, Gemma Owen.

In their recent escalation, fans of Luca have noticed some striking resemblances between his extravagant actions now and the same grandiose gesture he made towards his former partner Gemma upon their initial encounter on the ITV2 show.

Over the weekend, Luca and Grace indulged in a luxurious vacation in Abu Dhabi. While they were there, Luca arranged for an exquisite flower-decorated private dinner on the beach. This setup bore a striking resemblance to the rose-adorned date that he had previously prepared for Gemma.
