It turns out that “The Thursday Murder Club” is already showing in UK movie theaters before its Netflix premiere on August 28, however, those hoping to catch it at their nearby Cineworld, Odeon, or Vue might find themselves disappointed.
Due to the fact that Netflix will make “The Thursday Murder Club” available for viewing next week, it appears that the UK’s top three movie theaters won’t be showing this film because they require a longer exclusive period (at least 30 days) between their screening and home release for movies to be featured.
Smaller cinema chains and independents like Picturehouse and Everyman in the UK don’t follow the same pattern as larger ones when it comes to movie screenings, including The Thursday Murder Club. To help you find a showing this weekend, we’ve checked the schedules extensively to pinpoint which cinemas are playing it.
