Where Winds Meet Version 1.3 introduces The Masked Trope sect
I’m so excited about Version 1.3! The biggest thing for me is definitely the new Masked Trope sect coming on February 13th. It’s seriously cool – they’ve combined traditional Chinese opera with martial arts, so you get this amazing fighting style where opera isn’t just part of it, it’s at the heart of everything they do, built on a solid foundation of martial arts.
Their fighting style is graceful and flowing, combining quick footwork, well-timed attacks, and movements borrowed from the art of Chinese opera – including elements of singing and acting. They’ll be a welcome addition, allowing you to switch effortlessly between attacking and defending with powerful moves.
In Version 1.3 you’ll get to try the new mystic skill, Contortion
Update 1.3 adds a new character class and a unique skill called Contortion, which lets you briefly become very small. This opens up new ways to explore levels and allows for unexpected attacks when you need them most. You can test out Contortion during the new Spring Festival event, Tiny Adventure.
Challenge the two new World Bosses in Where Winds Meet Version 1.3
Two powerful bosses are coming on February 6th! Meet the Coffin Master, a mysterious figure haunted by a son’s question about a lost life, and the Drunk Martial Artist, who believes life is best enjoyed with a drink and a dance. These bosses arrive with WWM Version 1.3…

With the new Version 1.3 update, you’ll encounter two powerful new bosses while adventuring: the Drunk Martial Artist and the Coffin Master. They both fight differently – one is wild and unpredictable, while the other is more calculated and menacing. You’ll need to learn their unique attack patterns to defeat them.
The Guild War League is coming to provide long-term competition
With the Version 1.3 update, Where Winds Meet is introducing a new Guild War league. This will be a phased competition, beginning with placement matches to sort players into groups, followed by a regular season of group-based battles.
Spring Festival events is bringing a variety of rewards and experience
What’s an update without a little fun? The Where Winds Meet Version 1.3 update will include a Spring Festival Celebration, running from February 6th to March 5th. During this event, the game world will be transformed with festive decorations like lanterns and lively, bustling areas.
Today marks the first day of spring, according to the traditional lunar calendar! With the arrival of Lì Chūn, we’re excited to launch Version 1.3, “Spring’s Bliss,” immediately following scheduled maintenance on February 6th (5:00–10:00 AM UTC+8).
