NetEase Games has begun accepting pre-registrations worldwide for its new open-world Wuxia role-playing game, Where Winds Meet, available on both Android and iOS. The game initially launched in China on mobile in January and recently underwent testing on iOS. It’s scheduled to be fully released on December 31st.
Experience a stunning Wuxia world with the freedom to follow any path you like
Now that the technical test for iOS is complete, anticipation for Where Winds Meet is building! This open-world action-adventure RPG draws inspiration from the Wuxia genre, letting you play as a young sword master in 10th-century China and discover the secrets of your past.

Okay, so if you’re into Chinese history or those classic Wuxia stories, this game is seriously immersive. It drops you right into the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period of China, and the best part is, you can do anything. I mean, you can be a total outlaw – deal with shady characters, risk getting thrown in jail – or you can be a good guy, help out villages, make friends, and build up a solid reputation. It’s totally up to you how you play!
Master iconic Wuxia weapons while interacting with characters
I’m a big fan of Wuxia comics, and The God of High School is my favorite. I’m really excited about this new one! It lets you move around in incredible ways – you can run across rooftops using parkour, travel long distances with a special wind ability, or use fast travel points. Plus, the combat feels great, with classic martial arts moves and weapons that respond quickly.
This game offers a huge amount of content, putting it in the running with popular titles like Genshin Impact. Players can expect a deep story with over 150 hours of solo adventures, plus the option to team up with friends in 4-player co-op. The chance to learn and master martial arts like Taichi while discovering over 20 unique regions is a particularly exciting prospect.
Where Winds Meet is available for pre-registration now on both Android and iOS devices. You can sign up through the Google Play Store or App Store. The game is currently scheduled to launch on December 31, 2025.
