NetEase Games announced that its new open-world martial arts role-playing game, Where Winds Meet, will launch on December 12th for both Android and iOS devices. Global pre-registration is now open following a successful technical test on iOS last month.
Explore the 10th-century China-based Wuxia world to uncover your true identity
Great news! Where Winds Meet is coming to mobile devices earlier than anticipated – it was originally slated for December 31st. This open-world action-adventure RPG has already proven popular with players on PC and consoles, and I’m excited to explore 10th-century China as a skilled young swordsman.

The game’s story focuses on discovering who you are, all while exploring China during the turbulent Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. I’m particularly excited about the storylines set in Qinghe and Kaifeng, as they’re deeply rooted in history, and the game seems to offer a lot of interesting side quests as well.
Experience one of the fastest in-game travel systems
I’ve watched a lot of gameplay footage, and I’m really surprised by how different this game is – especially its fast travel and animations. Combat focuses on classic, satisfying martial arts and traditional weapons. What’s also cool is the NPC system: you can build friendships, start rivalries, play pranks, or even mentor the villagers.
Overall, this game is well worth the wait. It offers a robust multiplayer experience, a unique NPC system, a streamlined user interface, complete cross-platform and cross-play compatibility, over 150 hours of single-player content, and more than 20 distinct regions to explore.
Hey everyone, awesome news!
