The Hexi expansion offers a new story set apart from the main game, drawing inspiration from China’s Tang Dynasty. It’s great how the expansion focuses on a more cinematic style of storytelling and gameplay, letting you step into the shoes of both famous historical figures and everyday people.

Jade Gate Pass introduces desert time reversal and exploration mechanics

Chapter One takes you to the Jade Gate Pass, a large desert region. Here, you’ll unlock two new abilities to help you explore: Sand Chaser and Cosmic Reversal. Sand Chaser allows you to quickly glide over sand, and Cosmic Reversal lets you turn back time to rebuild ruins, solve puzzles, and discover hidden secrets.

Beyond regular matchmaking, we’re adding exciting limited-time modes like Sand Table Struggle and Heroic Gauntlet for you to enjoy.

Jade Gate Pass is also bringing a campaign boss and a world boss

The Jade Gate Pass update introduces more than just desert exploration. It also includes a new campaign, White-Crown City, which takes place in a long-forgotten border outpost between Jade Gate Pass and Liangzhou. During this campaign, you’ll meet and battle Guo Xin, a famous guardian who serves as the campaign’s boss.

Players can also battle The Wandering Ark, a huge ship that travels across the desert. To win, you’ll need to use both long-range and close-up attacks, aiming for its vulnerable spots while fighting through powerful sandstorms. This boss fight is also tied into the story of Hexi.

The update comes with two new martial art style

I’m really excited about the new cultivation path, Bamboocut Dust, which includes two new fighting styles. Spring Dreamscape is designed for umbrella-based combat, emphasizing quick movements and smooth combinations perfect for close-quarters team fights. Meanwhile, Fleeting Clouds, using a rope dart, allows for attacks that cover a large area and control groups of enemies, while still being effective in one-on-one battles.

The team behind Where Winds Meet is grateful for the incredible support from its community, which has made these significant updates and expansions possible. Get ready to discover new areas, improved combat, and lots more on March 6th! We’ll share more details soon, so keep an eye out!
