What is Rare Timber in Heartopia
Rare Timber is a valuable wood found in Heartopia, used for making high-level items and improving your buildings. It’s different from regular wood because it doesn’t fall from just any tree – you can only get it under certain rare circumstances.

Normal trees will always regrow any wood you chop from them. To get a permanent supply of wood, you need to harvest Gigantic Trees, which are much bigger and easier to spot than regular trees.
Where to find Rare Timber in Heartopia
In Heartopia, the main goal of Finding Rare Timber is to find and cut down Gigantic Trees. These trees are easy to spot because they’re much larger than regular trees.

You can only get Rare Timber by harvesting Gigantic Trees with your pickaxe. Luckily, these trees always appear close to the road that circles the Suburbs, so you can easily follow the road to find them and avoid getting lost.
Where to find the Gigantic Trees for Rare Timber in Heartopia
Okay, so I’ve been farming for Rare Timber, and I’ve figured out the best spots. They’re all in the Suburbs, pretty much lined up around the main road. Here’s where I consistently find them:

- Near Home Plot 01
- Between Home Plots 04 and 05
- Near Home Plot 08
- Near Home Plot 12
When you find a Gigantic Tree, use your pickaxe to chop it down just like a regular tree. But remember, you won’t always get Rare Timber. Even if you cut down the right tree, you might only receive normal timber instead.
After you chop down a Gigantic Tree, you have to wait two hours (120 minutes) before it can be harvested again. It won’t drop any more resources during this cooldown period, so plan your harvesting carefully to maximize your Rare Timber collection.
Buying Rare Timber
Even with good planning, you might not always collect enough Rare Timber. If that happens, Heartopia lets you buy it directly from the Acorn Store. You can get 20 Rare Timber for 10 Moonlight Crystals.

You can get Moonlight Crystals by doing things within the game, like using special codes for rewards. Buying Rare Timber isn’t the best way to collect resources over time, but it’s really helpful if you only need a small amount to finish crafting something important.
