In the story of “Enotria: The Last Song,” when your journey takes you to Litumnia, you’re bound to meet Bargniff. Engaging with him uncovers that he presents you with three puzzles to solve. Here’s a simple way to find Bargniff and answer his riddles in “Enotria: The Last Song”: You’ll find Bargniff in Litumnia, and by conversing with him, you’ll discover that he challenges you with three enigmatic questions.
Where to Find Bargniff in Enotria: The Last Song
For the first time, Bargniff is found close to the Clocktower Reality Knot in Litumnia. He’s a colossal frog who wears a mask on his brow and has a glowing blossom sprouting from the summit of his head. You can spot him on the left side of the square, near the water’s edge.
The first time you converse with him, he mentions posing three puzzling questions to you. He doesn’t clarify the reward, but assisting other characters in the past has led to obtaining a Unique Mask or distinctive weapon.
To crack his puzzles, converse with him while wearing the appropriate disguise. It’s alright if you make a mistake and speak to him with an incorrect mask, nothing bad will occur as a result.
How to Solve Bargniff’s First Riddle
After chatting with him initially, Bargniff poses his first riddle.
The Riddle: Brains not brawn define you. You slice, you dice, but never flesh.
The Answer: Piercing Wit Mask
Upon answering correctly, the frog moves on to a second location.
How to Solve Bargniff’s Second Riddle
Getting to Bargniff’s second spot requires a bit of effort since it’s situated quite centrally in the city. If you’ve previously scouted the area, the quickest route to him is by using the Highborne Streets Reality Knot teleportation point. Continue your journey towards the Astrarium section of the city until you arrive at the small canal that’s enclosed by a gate.
To your right, there’s a narrow walkway you need to cross. This action triggers an appearance by Bargniff. Jump or move down to reach the lower platform for a conversation with him.
The Riddle: In ruby robes, you fervently implore, devotion unyielding, her voice you await.
The Answer: Vermiglio’s Mask
How to Solve Bargniff’s Third Riddle
To solve his last puzzle, Bargniff ventures into the Mines of Gratia. You’ll find him in the sector where you encounter the Master Gondolier, at the very depths of the mines. Use the fast travel point named Reality Knot in the Mines of Gratia. After that, leap off the ledge. Proceed to the right and ascend the stones. Follow the path to its end where you’ll confront the boss, unless you’ve already defeated him earlier. Bargniff will be on the left side of the water in this area.
The Enigma: Your boat smoothly navigates twisting canals, in a locale of suspension bridges, concealing hidden truths.
The Answer: Gondolier’s Mask
Once you’ve solved all three puzzles, Bargniff reveals a secret passage that leads you to the heart of the mine. It’s here where you’ll meet Litho, one of the three Deities.
