In 2014, when The Saturdays went on hiatus, they made sure to clarify to their fans that it wasn’t a split or end of the band, but rather a temporary pause in their activities.
Even after over a decade, the band hasn’t resumed their activities – each member, including Frankie Bridge, Rochelle Humes, Una Healy, Vanessa White, and Mollie King, has been pursuing successful careers individually in music and television.
Currently, the likelihood of a reunion between Frankie and Rochelle appears to be dwindling further, as many fans suspect that these long-time friends might be involved in a hidden dispute.
As a devoted admirer, I must confess that even though both ladies have vehemently refuted any disagreement, gossip has been spiraling out of control. This whirlwind started when Frankie subtly suggested a dispute in one of her enigmatic TikTok posts, which surfaced merely weeks following reports that we saw them apparently avoiding each other at Wimbledon.
For nearly a decade, it seems like the rest of The Saturdays group hasn’t spoken publicly about the reported discord, and there haven’t been any photos capturing them all in the same space.
So where did it all go wrong for The Saturdays?

Prior to The Saturdays being formed in 2007, Frankie and Rochelle already knew each other.
The duo crossed paths in 2001, as they were both chosen to be part of S Club Juniors, which was a spin-off from the original S Club 7 band. Together, they put out six top 10 hits.
Four years after their group dissolved, Rochelle took over hosting duties for the program called Smile, and Frankie pursued a career as a single performer.
In the year 2007, their paths intersected once more as opportunities arose for a fresh girl group audition – an event that eventually led to the formation of The Saturdays.
Initially though, the pair had reservations.
Frankie received an invitation from the executives of a record label to try out for their girl group, yet she felt hesitant about joining another one.
In the meantime, Rochelle pondered that grouping five girls into The Saturdays might lead to a chaotic situation.
In a 2023 interview, she shared: ‘We’ve heard tales of girl bands feuding, and at times, we didn’t agree, but we appreciated and valued one another. Our bond was more like that of sisters.’

As a devoted fan, I embarked on my journey in the spotlight by joining forces with Girls Aloud for tours, ultimately carving out a unique identity for myself. Over time, this led to the release of no less than 13 top 10 hits that resonated strongly with audiences.
Back in 2014, I was part of an exciting journey when we kicked off our Greatest Hits tour, and later that year, we unveiled our masterpiece, “Finest Selection: The Ultimate Collection.” It’s a testament to our rich musical history!
As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to rephrase that for you: “Though the tone suggested a conclusion, I, Frankie, was swift to clarify: ‘This isn’t an ending, but rather a significant point on our journey.’
In the subsequent year, Mollie asserted that the band would record another album following Christmas, dismissing rumors of a breakup as she emphasized, “We’re each working on individual projects this year.
In a 2015 interview, Frankie expressed similar thoughts, stating that they would be recording together again that year, which she was excited about since everyone in the group really gets along well.
As a devoted follower, I’d like to share that our enduring bond stems from the liberty we each enjoy to pursue our individual passions. We cherish these moments away, only to reunite stronger afterwards, spending quality time with our loved ones in between.
Yet, no fresh music emerged, and by 2017, Vanessa effectively dashed any reunion expectations, stating that she was fully invested in her individual career path instead.
She expressed to Hunger Magazine that she feels strongly against returning because there are numerous things she wishes to accomplish and, as the days pass, she senses that such a move would not align with her feelings anymore.

Since then, there have been suggestions of getting back together, yet nothing concrete has materialized.
Recently, Una shared with The Sun that she has been actively working towards reuniting the band, stating confidently: “I’m the one who will make this happen.
‘I’m always poking – it’s like poking the group chat. I’m all on it, I’m on the case.’
Frankie stated during an appearance on Olivia Attwood’s podcast, So Wrong It’s Right, in April that he doubts there will be a reunion. While he doesn’t rule it out completely, he expressed some reservations, saying, “I might feel a bit old and a bit silly.
In June, Rochelle expressed her reluctance towards reuniting, remarking, “I guess one should never say never, but honestly, I can’t envision it at the moment. It seems distant now, but who knows what the future may bring?
We never had any issues between us. We didn’t have a disagreement that led to a breakup, and there’s definitely no animosity between us. Our relationship is still very strong.
Even though she insists they’ve left their differences behind, it’s hard not to notice that the five of them haven’t been photographed as a band since 2017. I can’t help but wonder if all is truly well in the group, my dear idols.
The team gathered once more for Mollie’s birthday celebration. At that moment, the celebrity exclaimed: “I couldn’t have wished for a more delightful surprise than seeing these four familiar faces!

As a diligent follower, I found myself wishing to reconnect with our group, but unfortunately, coordinating our schedules proved challenging, and we haven’t managed to arrange a meetup yet.
She mentioned that it’s challenging to schedule a dinner for the five of us, as our group chat is flooded with drink invitations, yet no one seems able to choose a suitable date.
‘It seemed we functioned more efficiently with a single person managing the affairs. While nothing is absolutely impossible in the future, I find it unlikely that everyone will have the time for this task any time soon, considering each person’s individual responsibilities and possibly children.’
Lately, Mollie, Frankie, and Rochelle all went to Wimbledon, but they didn’t have much opportunity to interact with each other during that time.
At the tennis tournament, both Frankie and Rochelle were spotted relishing the hospitality, although they didn’t spend a considerable amount of time with each other.
One observer noted that the women appeared to maintain a distance from each other. They chose to sit on opposite ends of the room and generally preferred to keep to their own company.
In the limelight, I found myself surrounded by familiar faces as I struck a pose alongside my S Club comrade, Rachel Stevens. Meanwhile, my partner-in-crime, Marvin, was busy creating memories with his I’m A Celebrity companion, Sam Thompson, as they snapped selfies together.
Despite exchanging friendly gestures whenever their paths crossed, they never voluntarily spent additional time with one another beyond what was necessary. They remained cordial as they both headed towards the tennis court.
On the same day, Molly was present at the tournament, yet she didn’t appear to engage with either Frankie or Rochelle.

Both Frankie’s team and sources close to Rochelle have stated unequivocally that there is no ongoing dispute or animosity between them.
Despite this, Frankie still took to social media on Monday with a mysterious post. The caption read: “You’ve been uncharacteristically silent… It seems I’ve only now realized that, in essence, our connection is as good as gone for five long years.
In the TikTok clip, Frankie could be seen enjoying a glass of wine while the tune of Avril Lavigne’s “What The Hell” played in the background.
Frankie then added below: ‘Takes me a while, but once you’re dead you’re dead.’
She didn’t specify who or what incident she was talking about in the post.
On Friday, Rochelle posted something mysterious, hinting at figuring things out, accompanied by the tune ‘All That Really Matters’ by Teddy Swims.
She shared this quote, which says: ‘Preparation is a fantasy. You begin. You’re not very good. You learn as you go. You improve.’
